Know what you mean about off the shoulder SpecialSundae - when I went dress shopping that was one rule - I didn't want strapless. Nothing against all the people on here with gorgeous strapless dresses - but it's just something I knew I didn't want (I'd spend the day 'tugging' at it thinking it would be falling down - I know psychological lol).

I thought the same thing mym when I started looking at dresses. Until I tried on a strapless wedding dress and realised how secure they felt in comparison with a normal strapless dress. I went out determined to find something with straps, and ended up with a strapless dress - LOL.

blue fish i love it. I also love the venue :) Love ronald joyce dresses. I like some IT Man stuart ones too but sometimes he goes a bit overboard and his prices arent really good for what your getting.

I'm having some padding put into my corset but for shape rather than size, if that makes sense. My breasts are bottom-heavy and wide-set so I don't get great cleavage without some help.

Don't feel too bad Suzky!

When I bought a ballgown a few years back, I too needed chicken fillets to make the dress sit properly, same as Special I think, boobs sometimes need a little bit of help to sit pretty in dresses :P

Edit: to mention (I forgot to) that at the time I was a DD!

It does help, doesn't it! I find with some dresses, you end up with the grand boob canyon or other dresses the cleavage might work but its kind of hoiked up a bit too high... there's a nice balance using fillets!

This is me on my wedding day in my dress with my bridesmaid. Mine was made by a friends mum who is a dressmaker and was made with a basic pattern and the odd idea from myself. Its not the typical wedding dress you see in the shops but I loved it and it made me feel beautiful for one day. xx

Hey Clarabelle - yes, it's Ritva Westenius and called 'pippa'. There is actually one photo of it online, in the websites real bride section, but I don't think the dress looks very good on her so I don't look at it! It made me really worried that I didn't like it any more, so I was very relieved when I tried it on again and loved it! x
