this was our cake,we had 80 lemon cupcakes with pink frosting and a triple chocolate giant cupcake,the figurines are replicas of me and glenn out of icing and marzipan,i still have them now,even though glenns head keeps falling off lol

I'm going to be making a birdcage wedding cake, I saw a pic in a magazine and fell in love with it. And seen as we will be "the Birds" it has sort of become the theme with table decorations, bouquets and invites all to the same design (thats the plan). I love everyone's cakes, they are all so beautiful, I do cake decorating as a hobby and I can appreciate the effort that goes into them, perfection ain't easy ladies!

Heres my beautIful cake. A friend from work made it for me. The bottom layer was vanilla, then lemon, then choc, then vanilla again. It was gorgeous!

I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

this is the the original image that i based our cake on. Ours will also have a few purple roses and some of the pettles will be purple and then on the side we are having 6 butterflys which will all be completely different. Oh and ours is 3 tier

They only sent the top and bottom tier... they had to reorder the middle one and send it to me in a taxi the morning before the wedding so it was a mad rush for my MOH's mum to decorate it in time.

We're now thinking of a M&S cake and just decorate it ourselves. We're really not fussed either way about the cake, it's the one thing we both refuse to waste money on. I do love a gorgeous cake but they're just so expensive. We can get the one we want and decorate it how we want for £80. That I don't mind lol.

we're having a 4 tier cake (fruit / chocolate fudge / coffee / victoria sponge)

with off white vanilla icing

we're having a willow cake topper & my cake maker is making hundreds of tiny roses to match the ones on the topper to spiral down the cake :)

it's going to be simple but intricate & blooming delicious if the trial run is anything to go by!!

We're having a 3 tier - top tier fruit (to save for the first born) middle tier lemon and the bottom tier choc orange. My siuster is making it as she's a cake maker and we're having a mix between these:

Top tier will be covered in edible glitter and will have the topper on 'H&D' in silver glitter and ribbon at the bottom of the cake.
Second tier will have no ribbon but will have teeny polka dots half way up the cake.
Bottom tier will have ribbon at the bottom again.
All ribbon will be midnight blue and the bows will have small diamonte brooch in the middle, which really finishes it off! Hx
