    Evening all :-)

I just wanted to share something with you all in regards to RSVPs. We decided not to do proper RSVP cards as our post is a tad unreliable and we didn't want things to get lost. Therefore we opted to direct people to our wedding website (which has worked well) but we put our address on the invite for those who don't have internet access (aka the grandparents lol).

However, I can't even begin to tell you how lovely it is to receive an RSVP in the post! Yesterday we received an RSVP from OH's aunt who unfortunately can't make it, but she had written us such a lovely letter saying how proud she was of him and how happy she was both of us that I was in tears by the end of it! It was so touching to receive something so heartfelt and I'm almost regretting the online RSVP decision as there is something quite special about someone posting something and possibly adding a little hand-written note for the couple. We've also received three other RSVPs by post and they're all sitting proudly on the side (every time I look at them I can't help but smile!)

So although online RSVP is convenient, perhaps it is worth doing the traditional card - also, who doesn't like receiving post that isn't junk mail or bills?!

    xx

I want to do online as well on my wedding website as you should be able to keep the RSVPs and see them but also would be lovely to receive the RSVP cards in the mail to keep as a keepsake too may do both as I have designed as RSVP card too. I was going to give people various ways of replying call me text me book of face me email me RSVP on our wedding website and by card far to many options now days aren't we lucky =D ♥ X

We're doing both ways H2B designed our wedding website and he's going to let people go on there and create a box where you put who ever is attending and then it comes through as an email to me and H2B.

I'm not sure most of the people would go online to reply? I've got RSVP's printed but I was also thinking of including a stamped envelope so it's even easier for them to respond! Don't know if it's a silly, added expense? x

We sent all invites with an RSVP card to return to us in the post, however, we figured that as most invited are tech savvy and on FB 24/7 that most would like to do online RSVP therefore we offered them option to e-mail us instead.

I am so surprised that we've only had a handful of e-mailed RSVP's. Everyone else has sent us the cards back, even those who are on FB 24/7!

I think guests still like the traditional card RSVP and posting.

    xx

We're doing both - suspect we will get a mixture... Most guests live within a two mile radius, so suspect some will just be posted through the letter box xx
