Just wondering when you got your dresses From ordering?

Mine was orderd end of december it has been discontinued they said itll be in this month (yea im impatient!) Just wondering how long your dresses took from ordering to arriving in the shop? Im a little nervous as it was the shops last order for the dress with it bein discontinued they said my order was the last they were putting in for it so got all my fingers crossed that we dont hit any bumps!

and of course im super excited!

Many don't deliver for 6 to 8 months which is why it is recommended that brides start dress shopping early say at 1 year before to order6 to 9 months before the wwedding.

My sister had to make me start looking 14 months before our big day (I think she was excited lol), by the time I'd decided on the one it was 10 months before the wedding and I'd tried on a lot of dresses. Ended up getting the shop sample in the end as it was an 8/10 perfect size for me which was a bit of luck but if she was ordering me a new dress made just for me then I'd have been ordering with good time for it to be delivered around 3 months before the wedding.

I know it's march but don't forget it could arrive the back end of march. Thinking about it only three days in will drive you mad.

A lot of places charge different for alterations. I've heard of some places charging say £20 per hour of work but my shop have quoted me between £50-150 max. I'm going with the expectation of £150 so anything cheaper than that is a bonus.

Deoendant on the designer depends on how quick it can be made. I think Maggies are known for taking a longer time.
