I wanted to get myself a nice perfume for the wedding day. Something that would be long lasting and I wouldnt have to constantly top it up. It was my birthday yesterday and my H2B surprised me with Coco Chanel Mademoiselle :D its gorgeous and he picked it all by himself!
Just wondered what perfumes everyone else was going to be wearing? Will you be wearing your regular one or something different?

I think i will most likely wear my usual, as my OH has a bad reaction to alot of perfumes, and I love my usual sent aswell as knowing its not going to make him ill.

The new DKNY one called My NY. As we got engaged in New York, it smells amazing, and the bottle design fits in with the feel of our day so will look nice in the bridal prep photos :)
I think I am going to have a look for something new as I would like it to be special knowing the first time I wore it was on my wedding day. However, the usual ones I wear are the nicest I have smelt so if I can't find one I like more I may just stick to one I don't wear as often.

I've got a new one for the wedding - Miss Dior (Eau de Parfum version as Le Perfum was too strong and Eau de toilette too weak). It will be my new special occasion scent

We both always get a new fragrance on our big summer holiday, and then it reminds us of that holiday when we wear it afterwards, so we decided to do the same for the wedding. I wore Be Jeweled by V3r@ W@ng, and my OH wore the new J00p fragrance, W1ld :-)

I love Gucci Rush, it is one of my favourite perfumes but because of the price I don't get it that often so I think I will be wearing that on my wedding day. Also, it lasts a very long time and I find I don't have to top it up at all in the whole day as the smell stays, which is a bonus. I personally think that if you choose one of your favourite perfumes, no matter what the cost, then it will make the day even more special, and it will make the perfume even more special later on. Or alternatively, you could wear the perfume which your h2b prefers you to wear x

I'm hoping to get Dior - Pure Poison but it's rather expensive! It's my all time favourite perfume and so long lasting but the price means it's always a treat when I get it! If that's out of the question, I'll be wearing my trusty Jimmy Choo - it's my going out perfume of choice. OH always says that when he smells it he always thinks of me which is quite sweet x

It's worth a try if you can Beximo, try ebay, or even see if anyone is selling any part used bottles (just check they arent over a year old) and decant it into a nice spray bottle?
I bought myself some juicy couture on saturday, im resisting opening it and having a spray as i only want to associate it with the wedding day :)

Well I wanted to wear channel chance as it's a classic, I've worn it for nearly 10 years on special occasions and lasts for hours! DH said he wanted me to wear my jimmy choo perfume he picked out for me that he loves so I went with that and packed it in my bag...
... The bag I bloomin left in my moms car to take to the reception after the church. I was then left with the only choice of wearing my then everyday cheap perfume I had in my bag... Britany spears, fantasy lol! And my mantra while spraying the perfume on me was "I can't believe I'm wearing Brittany spears perfume on my wedding day" lol oh well a story to tell ay!

I have the Dior j'adore set, every time we fly, I pick up another set. There are 4 varying strengths in small bottles. I wear the eau de toilette daily for work and the eau de parfum on special occasions. If it's a really special occasion (like my wedding day) I'll wear the absolut.

I've gone for Dior J'adore. Wanted to get something new for the wedding day so it will then remind my h2b of that day when I wear it in the future. Usually wear Issey Miyake or Jean Paul Gaultier but loved this one when I went into the shop to look for something new. Its hidden now so don't get tempted to wear it beforehand haha

I have already posted bt have just recently found a new perfume. Its ghost eclipse I have ad deep night before this is in same shape bottle but orange. Its more light n peachy smelling than deep night it has a hint of that in it as it is of course in thr same line as it but im guessin theyve decided to make a "daytime" version of it
Im going ti try it on myself next week when im shopping but on card it smells alot like anna sui (i cnt remember thr name pink bottle fairy on the top)
Love it so far :-) im thinkin this is my wedding oerfume its rght up my street and takes me back a few year to perfumes i can no longer get hold of :-) oh will love it! And if it mixes well with deep night mam said i shud add a squirt of that on the night time bt im nt sure as this seems to hit all the buttons for me atm :-) x Mams going to buy me a bottle for my birthday nxt yr which is 9 days before the wedding so i wont be wearing it untill my wedding day. Be first time oh will smell it on me but i know he will love it he always likes my picks of perfume :-)

Oh loves john paul but theres a shop in an outlet centre that sells most perfumes as a knock of for a fiver and tbh he likes the smell of the knock off better he said! But he wears it everyday so guna convince him to find something else and ill buy it for him :-) i love armani and boss so guna push him in that direction lol he has had them yrs ago bt now this shop has opened it saved us a fortune!
All the bridesmaids will get a bottle all the lads will but oh my dad and my mam (and me) will all be getting the real ones

it wasn't harsh at all kelbel- i love the advice i get from former brides to be infact most of the best information iv got is from former brides to be! but do you not think it is harsh for somebody to correct someones spelling on someones post without taking a second thought to think maybe that person might suffer from dyslexia and maybe that person has struggled for years and been ridiculed throughout school and doesn't like to have flaws pointed out on a friendly forum??? a place that people are meant to come and be welcomed etc but instead gets a sarky comment back about my spelling??
and i will also add i didn't say she was pathetic for still using ukbride because she was married i was asking her why is she on the forum digging me out instead of enjoying being a newlywed!? i certainly wouldn't just log on to ridicule someones post, what gives her the right to point out flaws in my post! some people....

i know what you mean midget gem... its so much easier to find fragrances for the men...
I used to work in the duty free and all the mens perfumes were so nice... i was always able to buy them for friends/family.. but it took me ages to decide which one was for me...
i dont know if its me, but i feel some fragrances smell different on different ppl...
i prefer the musky type ones.. something with vanilla is always great...
i may just use some vanilla essence and dab a bit on my neck... lool..

Definatly smell dif on dif people! I remember an ex got me d&g the one and u know when u walk into a posh vry freshly cleaned toilet it had thst sort of smell lol! So weird to explain (and no i dnt usualy smell like freshly cleaned toilets haha) but on other ppl id always b like oo whats that
Ghost deep night has a slight unisex smell to it bt u can tell its female which is what i like about it and eclipse the new 1 is just a lighter with peachy hint vry much like anna sui cnt wait to go squirt myself with it on friday haha!
