Well, I have been dreading this moment all year but yesterday I finally had to go in and put my wedding dress on order properly with my measurements! Not only has the lead time shortened from 6 months to 5 months delivery but I was able to order my dress 2 dress sizes smaller from when I was measured in August so yay It was really nice of them too as I got to try my dress on too which was a pleasant surprise especially as I still felt pretty, still loved it and felt slim which is a bonus! Now it's the nerve-wracking wait until it arrives they are going to put a corset back in so I won't be so stressed about it fitting in the months after it arrives and they are also ordering me the matching backwards bolero thingy to put over the top bodice and down the sleeves as I love my lace! All in all, a very good result xx

Thanks! Nope, no pictures I'm afraid as we had to rush out and grab the car before we got a ticket :( here's some from last time before the weight loss.. I can't believe that the next time I try my dress on it will be MY dress and it will be barely 4 months away until the wedding!

It really is, the sample dress just slides on now which is such a lovely feeling :) sounds sad but I can't wait to see the proper, fully altered dress I get to wear.. I've never seen myself in the ivory of my dress!

My dress is being ordered in the size I was in August, so my aim for when my actual dress arrives is for it to be way too big :) The sample didn't zip up properly so I couldn't get a proper idea of how the back looks on me, exciting exciting :)

Catherine I totally want to be there when you get your ivory dress, can we organize a ukbride tour round the country or something!?

Sounds like a lot of people order it a little smaller :) I think the shop were more amenable this time because they could see that I am motivated and loosing weight regularly so it's a risk they can take so yay!
