Hi I'm not due to get married till next May but looking to start getting wedding invites ect out and noticed when looking at wedding stationary they had order of service too. Is this necessary? I'm on a really tight budget and was wondering what people's thoughts were of not having an order of service?

You only need the OOS if you're having a church ceremony. If registry office or other civil ceremony its not necessary.

We are having a church wedding, I'm going to print my own order of services but they should be cheap enough. I'm planning on each one being printed onto 1 sheet of A4 paper, then folded like this:

I've got it all designed just need to show the vicar, then if he says its fine I can print them all off.
We are having an order of service as we are getting married in cathedral we ordered it whilst doing all stationary and I have had proofs for cover but so far not chosen inside bit lol
You don't really need it if you aren't getting marrie in a church as I don't really see point else where.

Were getting married in a hotel and were not having OOS - need to have menu choices, directions, poems, the invite itself and room information as it is! Don't want to cause more work for myself lol!! xx
