Trying to figure out how many round tables we need. Who sits on top table and what order ?
Thank you

Hi Lisa,
So traditional top table would be (from left to right)
Maid of Honour - Grooms father - Brides Mother - Groom - Bride - Bride Father - Grooms Mother - Best Man
However you can have the top table whichever way you want it a top able can fit 4 all the way up to 12. You could also have a sweetheart table that is just you and your other half.
Round tables can fit 6-10 people on and dont all have to have the same number on.

Hi Lisa,
We are following the traditional top table but including my step parents so it will be:
MOH - Bride's stepmum - Groom's father - Bride's mother - Groom - Bride - Bride's father - Groom's mother - Bride's stepdad - Best man
It makes things a lot more complicated but my step parents have been in my life for as long as I can remember so feel that it is only fair to make them feel included.
As for our round tables we will be doing table 1 my family, table 2 H2B family, table 3 my family and so on.
Boyfriend - 7th February 2010
Fiancé - 31st January 2015

As Stacey and Lauren say above ....... or you could go for non traditional as we did. Go for whoever you want on the top table x

Thank you all. Trying to decide as my OH doesn't really like my mum after all the upset she has caused and the fact that she's not overly interested in the wedding
I would say to your venue what do they need etc. Some places only have certain table sizes etc. We needed 2 tables of 9 and our venue told us where they needed to be etc.
We then tried to mix my family and his family on each table as much as possible without breaking up family units.
Our top table was traditional but with my sisters Fiance on too.
