Well I was a bit miffed this week.. I finally got past the 10lb loss that I've been stuck at for a while and lost another pound.. but this week I've stayed the same and I just don't know how. So frustrating when you try hard but don't see results! :( onwards and upwards this week though.. I WILL lose that stone!
Well done to everyone else too! If you could send me some of your willpower it would be much appreciated! x

Can anyone recommend a good exercise which doesn't involve the feet too much. I have severe mortons neuroma in my left foot which means I can't run. I can't join the gym as can't afford it :(

You could swim but that's expensive too...

Depending on how bad your motor neurone is could you manage cycling
If not it might sound silly but just do as many sit ups as you can in a row and do this over and over until you can do about 100 -

Before I hurt my back I was going 125 crunches, 20 v-up crunches, 200 cycle crunches, 150 toe touches and although it's quite hard at first it gets easier and only takes about 10 minutes .. I didn't think that would make me loose weight but it toned me right up .. May be worth a try?

I've been feeling motivated the past few days to exercise, which is not like me as I usually have to force myself to do it. Been doing the 30 Day Shred on and off for the past couple of months, but I've just discovered a few of Jillian Michaels' other DVDs are on Youtube, so I'm going to rotate a few of those for the next month and hopefully lose a few pounds and tone up in time for my wedding in September :)

I've had a bad couple of weeks but only managed to put on 2 1/2 lb. been back on it this week and lost 1 1/2 so pleased it's going back in the right direction!

I'm 4 1/2lb hitting the 2 St lost mark so trying to keep motivated for that :)

Someone needs to give me a firm kick up the bum, or sellotape my mouth closed!!!

Honestly lost all motivation at the moment, I've been stuck around the same 3lb mark for months and months now and it's starting to get me down :( you'd think that in itself would be the kick up the bum I need but I just seem to be stuck in a vicious circle! The only good thing to take from it is that I at least have not been gaining.

I have no motivation/energy at the moment to exercise (apart from dance on a Friday, which is at least something), but on the flip side of that I know you should 'exercise to energise' as they say and I would feel so much better about myself for it.

I thought buying my dress would be all the motivation I needed but am seriously struggling!!

I sometimes find changing what healthy food I eat makes me kick start weight loss-

I'm not good at eating in the mornings but when I get to work I eat a banana, I take carrot sticks, fruit and nuts to munch on for snacks, lunch I am having salad with cous cous and then evening meal stir fry or a jacket, or as a Friday treat steak and sweet potato chips.

I'm not following any ww or sw or any other diet but just ensuring I eat ensure protein etc and snack on the right foods

or look at what you are eating and se that you are eating enough of the right foods- I struggled to lose weight but a friend told me to eat more and include snacks - that along with exercise as you say xx

I've had to sign back up to W3ight W@tch3rs properly and throw myself back into exercise to make myself motivated Flossie, faking it till I make it! Doing well though, since Friday I've exercised every day except Monday and will do tomorrow and Thursday too. I'm doing 30 minute workouts on Y0uTub3 and I've got copies of T25 (B3@chb0dy/Shaun T) xx

Time to start to loose a little bit of weight, wedding dress bit on the tight side when I had a fitting other day, wasn't too bad on my first fitting, Have 8 weeks Friday to lose about 1/2 a stone, don't sound like much but have trouble loosing weight, tend to put it on again when I go home for my 2 weeks off, going to try and stick to salads and cereals bars while I am at work for next 2 weeks. No H2B tempting me with crisps and chocolate lol! Also going to Scotland week before we get married. last time put on quite a bit of weight. Determined to do it this time!

You sound like you're in the same boat as me Mrs M. Saying yes to bad food always seems a good idea at the time but always feel so guilty afterwards which far outweighs the enjoyment of eating it in the first place!!! Don't know why we do it to ourselves.

I've been a bit more disciplined this week, back to my spinach omelettes for breakfast every morning and fruit and soup for lunches, then a standard dinner which is not necessarily super healthy but not bad for you either. Turns out I've actually lost a lb since the weekend so must be doing something right. Just trying to get back into the rhythm I had before which is the hardest part!

To make your breakfast lower in fat, depending on how many eggs you have, if you have 2 eggs cut out one of the yolks or if its 3 cut out 2, I usually have a 3 egg scrambled egg or omelette and have one yolk, the yolk has all the fat and the white is free to have on most diet plans so its a good way to have eggs with less fat xx

I don't bother separating them, I still semi follow the SW plan which just counts eggs as free foods regardless of whether you eat the yolks or not. I'm not trying to be super super good, just quite good... it means slower weight loss but the beauty of it is that I do have the time! So not worried about losing lots of weight quickly, just hope I can continue to lose at a slower pace like I have been :) xx

Yeah that's the best way, thinks that's why part of me isn't so strict at the mo, I want to loose 7 pounds for the wedding as im already at my target weight, so if i can maintain that until next year ill be happy, i know it might go up a few pounds down a few but staying in this region for now will be good then next year I can concentrate on loosing that little bit more and toning up xx

Yeah you're in a great position! The closer the wedding and your dress fittings get the more and more motivated you're gonna be so should make it easier to really knuckle down.

Ideally I'd like to lose 2 stone by the wedding but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. It's hard to imagine what I'd look like 2 stone lighter... it might be that I'm happy with 1 stone off. When I feel happy with my reflection that's when I will stop, doesn't really matter what the scales say! xx

That was my thought process too Emma, and to be fair I have lost almost a stone and a half now since January which isn't bad going! I think because I've been stuck around the same point for a couple of months now it's getting me down, but actually I have done quite well. Aiming for at least another stone off by Christmas so then I have next year to just lose whatever else I can!

    You've done brilliantly Emma :-)
