What would everyone put in as a basket in the rooms for guests stopping over? This is what I am currently struggling with. I was thinking...
a beer/cider/wine home brew (also our wedding drink),
condoms for the younger generation as i think the older generation would not really appreciate this.
some biscuits/something to snack on if hungry during the night

Not really sure what else to have in them... all ideas would be appreciated... TIA

This is a genius list. I know that I always get aching feet at weddings, so those little gel squidgies for soles would be brilliant in the bathroom basket.

Katya- I know it's a bit tacky, but I think a hangover kit's always appreciated. Pain killers, a small carton of orange juice...

I like this idea but the toilets at my venue are public as although we have our private function rooms; the bar is open to anyone so would be worried if non wedding guests used them and nicked them :S

Hi I love the ideas ladies but you may have to ask your venue about the pain killers in the bathrooms as I know a friend wasn't allowed to do this as children would be about, other guests and people drinking.

Thanks for the bump, some great ideas on this thread!!

Has anyone that has already done this got any advice on what they'd have changed now that they've done them?
Did everyone just take everything so others couldn't use?

Hi All, bumping this to the top as i am now making them for the day.

Thoughts on what to put in them:

    Ladies:
perfumes, deodorant, plasters, mints, tissues, face wipes, hair spray, hair grips, spare tights, hand cream, sewing kit, hair bobbles, pads and tampax,

    Mens:
aftershaves, deodorant, plasters, mints, tissues, lint roller

Mens feels a little empty. any ideas??

That hasn't cost much about £10 using a basket we already had. I have since bought some mini perfumes. Most of it from £land

    Consider this idea stolen.

What doesn't get used during the wedding, we can take on honeymoon with us

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan
