We are hoping to stay apart on night before wedding, as we have decided males will go for drink and females go drink somewhere else. If we can't have separate room then I will bunk down with my mum for night lol xx

Hi Ladies, I am now looking to get married in Cyprus and have narrowed the hotels down to either Kefalos Beach Tourist village or Louis Phaethon Beach club, has anyone stayed at these hotels or had there wedding/been to a wedding there that can give me any info. Thanks in advance Kerrie

Hi AmyF80 I am also getting married in Paphos in 2015 not booked anything yet we waiting for flights to come out first and then book all at once, (April 2014) but I will be booking Holiday with UK travel agent and wedding direct with hotel, I have already been in touch with the wedding co-coordinator at the hotel we have chosen she has checked dates for me and been very helpful, there is a face book group called Cyprus brides to be CHAT ROOM has lots of info that may help. I was just going to do it per family, so like each hotel room...Obviously I wouldn't do anything like that for our friends that live in Crete, we would just get regular favors for them. xxx

No its made legal by the Mayor in Crete xx

Wedding Planner is sorting a lot of things we just need to pick and pay

We done quite abit mainly the wedding day been booked but got to finalise everything. Suits and dress brought favours brought and table decks brought. Just waiting for May this year to book holiday as we dnt get married till 2015 in May so just on hold ATM. But nt long till all systems go lol xxx

Hello everyone! I've finally found my way to the official thread :) Would love to hear about Greek weddings and see some pictures as I'm loving the look of some of the venues there! Have people managed to keep under a budget of £5000 for 20-30 people or is that unrealistic (with/without a wedding planner)?

Hi Pang, I have booked to get married in Paphos, Cyprus at a beach front hotel i contacted the wedding staff at the hotel and booked with them direct and then gonna book the holiday with a uk travel agent, I have not been to the hotel before or even been to paphos before, the hotel has a bookface page and pictures look great I am booking to all myself without a wedding planner as wedding staff at the hotel are very helpful, hope this helps you x

Hi andysmeth, Yes we will be staying at the same hotel as we get married in, the hotel we really want is only half board, but right on the beach and Th0ms0n offer free child places there to, we have family booking at the same time so I hope we can get all kids free to bring the cost down, the wedding at the hotel is 385 euro for beach gazebo the set up with chairs covers, sashes in our colour, flower arrangement on table for sign of registrar, laterns and red carpet. Paphos town hall charge 632 euro for registrar to attended the hotel to marry you, then you just got extras like cake, flowers, Photographer etc

Hi. We are getting married in cyprus August 2015 we have given our prefered 3 dates it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get a reply I'm so worried they might say I can't have any of the 3. Has this happened to anyone? Xx

I didn't do the same myself, but I was a guest at one last year in Cyprus. It's a gorgeous place and I'm sure your wedding will be fabulous Mrs B
