Emily not the only one having dress drama, I tried mine on today and the bust is way to big, I've lost weight AGAIN!! so I fly to Vegas on Sunday, my lovely amazing seamstress is going to turn my dress around in 2 hours on Saturday afternoon. Thank goodness there are lovely helpful and accomodating in this line of business. I just don't want to have too much boob on show but the smaller the cup gets the more revealing it is :-/

Eeek. Anything you can do to try to add a pound or 2 between now and then? At least she will make it fit you. thats the main thing.

Sorry I haven't been on here, manic weekend but got OH suit ordered so I am happy

What about L1ndy B0p Emily, they do quit pretty dresses even have a wedding section and pretty reasonable?

Claire, can you get them chicken fillets (they aren't actually called that but hopefully you know what I mean) if the cup is too big still?

I know Maxine week, Ive had to rearrange all of my other appointments too so i can get in with her!

Lesley my friend mentioned about using Chix fillets too, I'll see what the seamstress recommends. I could use boob tape but i think in the Vegas heat it will lift off, I'm not wearing a bra so fillets might not be an option. I'm sure it'll work out

I was worried about my dress as it has an illusion back and so its not practical to wear a normal bra. I tried the stick on ones, but didn't find they stuck for long enough.

When I had my fitting, my seamstress offered to sew one of my own bras in (obviously cutting off the back straps) Luckily my dress has enough structure in the front to be able to go without one at all

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

Just had my first one 9 weeks to the wedding.
Next one will be 6 weeks to go, and then hopefully my final one 2 weeks after that - so the month mark.

I'm beginning to think now I've done it too early

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

I had my first fitting 2 months before, I have another one tomorrow to discuss putting a bustle in and so I assume I'll have one final one next week.

My bridesmaids were hopefully getting fitted on Saturday but my "MOH" is away for the weekend and I'm concerned tha time is running out on their dresses, particularly as she hasn't lost any weight and so it will probably need taking out! She just doesn't seem to be taking it seriously and she only has herself to blame as I ordered the dress size she told me to. I've got half a mind to tell her if it doesn't fit she's not wearing it!

Emily, that's a lovely dress, and a bargain. Happy this annoying bit is out of the way.

Claire, I hope you have a great time! Try to enjoy every experience :)

Two months to go today! It is also OH's birthday and RSVP deadline! We've got two couples of cousins left to reply, but as far as we are aware, they are not coming. Anyway, only 39 people confirmed, which is 11 people less than expected. Not much to do now, I think. I hope everything works out OK.

Still 7 weeks to go - so too early to check the weather.
We have our hen/stag nights this weekend.

OH is going camping for the night on Saturday - they are staying at a pub - there is about 60 of them going. God help the pub.
I however, am having a nice quiet night, just 7 of us - going for a meal and a few drinks.

I didn't want a hen night at all - but I gave in, in the end

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

Blimey Maxine - 60 men descending on a pub crawl! That's going to be a long night for your OH!!

As much as I liked my hen do I would have been perfectly happy with just having a quiet night in, I'm not really on for being the centre of attention...something I'm being aware that I'm going to have to get over on the big day!

Clouds are good for wedding pictures though, fingers crossed for no rain.

Think its important to do these things though, you don't want to regret not doing anything, as long as it is what you want. Being drunk in a tent with 59 other people is not my thing lol Looking at a tropical club in London for the night for my hen, hoping everyone will wear grass skirts and dress up hehe

You guys are getting soooo close!

I have a question regarding stationery for the day. I'm gonna order the place cards, table plan, order of service and thank you cards. Does it matter if the paper is different? I found this website with lovely place cards for as little as £3 for 50. But my heart for the order of service is with other website, with the same paper we used for the invites for the cover, and a more normal paper for the inserts. Also the table plan will be from this second website, as the first one doesn't do them. I'm also a bit lost with design, as they will be completely different from our invites. Does it matter? :/

Emily I can't believe yours is so soon now! I was so nervous on the lead up as well, almost started crying before i left the house on the day (when it was just me and my dad left so it was quiet and nothing was happening around me). I managed to keep it together as not to ruin my make up though! I think nerves are a great thing to have though. Just proves this is a big step in our lives and we're excited about it x
