venue said that they dont need to put chairs out for all evening guests (85) as they only ever put out 60 as there are rooms where ppl can go and sit down and they have never had any problems. Fine but how on Earth do ppl have the buffet? I see what they mean about a lot of ppl will be dancing for the duration but ppl are going to want an allocated seat so they can eat and put drinks down surely. Help please? I dont think we are going to win on this one and am worried now.

we arent having seats for everyone either. we will have 70 chairs and 150 guests!
most people will be drunk, dancing or smoking outside so wont be wanting to sat down xx

People tend to eat the buffet over a period of time, vacating seats etc.
Now a extremely happy German housewife and now a Mother!!!!

yeah it will work out it always seems to ur venue wont want to look bad they will know what there doing!

I wouldnt worry, they are right, most people pick at a buffet as they are chatting and dancing, not everyone will sit at the same time. Things will turn out alright, like Kateh said, the venue will have done this before and know what they are doing. xx
