im frm peterlee co.durham and im looking for someone to do our cake.. the one we wanted to go with atm is just not interested... our consultation was meant to involve tasting as she does over 20 flavours and as we have cupcakes we wanted 3 dif flavours and top tsble to have their own indicidual choice... no tasters werr there do she said she would provide me with a box yesterday fter 3pm.. 6pmcame i get a fb message "cant mske it too busy will come tomorrow morning" i just said np, bit annoyed but understandable dhes busy..
i sent a message 9am which was read 9.10am (fb tells u) to ask for a rough time as i was planning on popping out and wanted to make sure i was back in time, i got no reply at all they came after 1pm... poorly decorated in comparrison to others taster boxs(fb pics) 12 dif flavours weve had to sit and smell to work out what they are
so now we are thinking to look elsewhere again she came vry highly recomended to us but i feel like our money isnt good enough as she was doing us a favour and doing her party pack of 2 tier cake cupcakes and cookies for a qedding when she said she would never normaly do this its £100 cheaper thsn what her cakes would be!

Lenny you have to be a power user to add pics to comments. You become a power user once you have 5 gold stars or you can pay to become one. You can add photos to your album on your profile though and people can easily click through and see them :)
I would definitely look elsewhere - don't blame you! Terrible customer service. Bit silly giving you the testers but not telling you which flavours they were! x

ohhh right! they r just cupcakes with swirl buttercream ontop mins they r lovely but its the service we want too!
where as for other people they have been nicely decorated with an idea of what care she puts into it for you and also an icening tag of which is which!
i feel a bit ott being anoyed by it but in the end its alot of money to spend and we need it to be right! not just thrown together
Yeah it has worked :) mm I would have expected them to be decorated so that you can see first hand exactly what you would be getting instead of just looking at photos. You need to be very confident in your suppliers and be able to trust them. She would definitely be ringing alarm bells for me!! xx

im feelin a bit deflated in the whole thing now as she was very very highly recomended to me.. and the deal she did was amazing.. i admit they taste bloody lovely lol but they also need to look the part. when i was talking to her she was asking ne stuff i didnt even think of such as cupcake cases etc and she said to me your wedding is the 1 day u get to be completely picky on how u want things without anyone saying otherwise. there was a cake waiting to go out for delivery which looked amazing it was a childrens jake birthday cake she had even gone out and bought toys to add to it so the child got to keep some toys aswell as eat cake. so shes very thoughtfull... not sure what went wrng for us! she was very helpful and a lovely lady so easy to talk to

shes also making our wedding cake aswell, the cupcakes were chocolate and vanilla, with buttercream frosting, there were also 2 made up for my mam without the buttercream,I think this was about 70 quid but cant be certain x

Sorry to hear how this turned out for you, even if she was very busy there is a certain way to act. Especially to customers as they are likely to recommend you to others (as she was to you). I hope you get sorted soon x

exactly although she is busy she had let us down twice with providing nothing and then the product she did provide did not meet expectations of what a "sample" would be like. i feel very let down and a bit anoyed other people were presented lovely cupcakes and we just got standard which quite frankly anyone could make and present! (flavour wise tho amazing lol)
