Hi all,

I'm currently doing a passport form so I have my married name on passport before wedding and suddenly I got to the end and I remembered I had to change signature lol I know I would need to at some point but suddenly it's real!!

I also have realised I have no clue on what to do lol I thought I would just know but apparently I don't.

How are you guys finding a new signature ?

I've been squiggling away and I'm coming up with CatherineR in a big swirly squiggle as I don't like some of the letters in my married name.. Very Duchess of Cambridge haha! Taken me ages though and I'm still not convinced!! Just get your pen and paper out and start doodling :) x

Haha, I doubt a house will be accepted! Would love to see their faces though lol. I've got d's, g's and r's in my new surname... I was so glad to be getting rid of the n's but it's been replaced by worser letters!! x

Mine will be L adamson... i dnt like it lol
my middle initial currently fits in vry well with my surname
lmcarney sort of flows the way i do it... (the m u dnt notice its soet of come off the top of the l haha) but lm then an a doesnt work!

i dnt like the surname (appologies for any adamsons around) it even sounds completely wrong saying the kids names as they hve their dad surname lol
im going to havw to practise now :-/

I've been writing mine sugbature down on any piece of paper since he proposed in Aug 2012!
I know how sad am I and it just feels normal to me now I've tried to make it like my old signature do its not so different or alien to me and its worked. I like squiggles and a hard to read sugbature but my new one seems quite prim n proper not fancy swirly so u feel I need to jazz it up a bit but hubby says it doesn't need to be so big like your last signature but u don't want a easy to copy signature I hate those easy to forge ones makes me scared someone perfect mine and leave me out of pocket!!
My hand writing doesn't seem to always be the same so it changes slightly I don't know how u do it u just do so I think my signature will never be the same as it will be in the registry book and on our certificates Xxx

CCorsham is much more difficult to sign than CEaton :o/ I hadn't really thought about it until I went to the bank to change my name and had to make it up on the spot!

I must admit, I've been practising for a while now and it's currently lots of loops with a couple of lines through to act as the K and T lol

Ive not thought about a new signature. I like mine just now E S Feehan its going to change to Lindsay so not sure how it will flow. Currently the f at the beginning is quite fancy. Not sure I can have a fancy l and then a loopy Y at the end hmm, should really start practicing x

Ive sent my passport off too and it was the first time I had to think about my signature, I just did a few practices I never used to sign my surname so I didn't actually have to change signature but I also never liked my signature but I do now, its a lot simpler and clearer....just hated my new passport pic!!!

I had a little play with mine, before I was married the first time I used to sign my name the initial and then surname, then on my first marriage I signed both initials and surname, on my second marriage the middle initial would not blend so easily, but once you start doing it a few times you get the hang of it. I have to sign my name so much at work that when I was there I got used to signing it that way.
