Portable DVD player and some good DVDs...thats what we are doing for the speech time of the wedding...kids in a corner..sweets, goody bags and DVDs.

they are a great idea we are looking in to hireing out a bouncy castle space hoppers giant jenga and giant connect four and we are getting colouring books and pots for bubbles and mini games for them but the boncy castle and giant stuff we need to dicuss with the wedding event coordinator on the 8th hope we can would love to have it not just for kids but for me lol

it all goes with the theme we are doing a childs drea theme we are having a sweets table too and a gigantic pofiteral piramid lol pis in my venu pic of that not bouncy castle lol

Shell i looked at the activity packs and figured i could make something similar for our kids with print off's from the pc got a slightly more daunting task tho, as all the kids who will be at our wedding range from 12 months to 14 years eeek! lol

Im quite lucky tho our venue has given us an adjoining room to "throw" all the kids into if needs be, im gonna laden it with paper and washable pens etc maybe my wii (if i feel generous enough on the day hehe) and im not too sure what else, maybe some board games but hopefully it will be enough to keep them amused during the speeches etc

Our toastmaster had a top tip to not give ANYTHING to the kids before the wedding breakfast, as it will distract them from eating etc. Wait until after the food, then whip them out to keep them quiet for the speeches!

Iv found a company that does little boxes in bout 7 colours! They do 2 diff sizes 2, so a cheaper and a more expensive box! Its great, its got colouring things, toys, a wee doll or pony in the girls and i cant remember what was in the boys! Hehe! But there was a whole range of things in all the boxes! I love it! I shall put the name of it on my page! Xxx
