Ok I have a dilemma lol
The love blocks above are what I ordered a few days ago and a package came this morning from them BUT instead of the blocks it had these in it

Which I love more lol
So do I tell the company they sent me the wrong thing and risk having to send them back or do I tell them but say I'm happy with their mistake and maybe get the blocks sent to me anyway lol (unlikely but you never know)

What would you do??

I'd find out how much they are, if they're cheaper, tell them, say you're happy and they'll refund the diff.. If they're dearer, sshhhhhh :-) xxx

I went the honesty route lol. Emailed her and said I liked it more so can I keep it
she said yes
AND I'm getting the original order sent to me for 75% off ..........BARGAIN! (It was in a 50% sale anyway so she just halved the cost for my troubles lol)

I'll get some pics tonight :-) Take a bit of getting used too and it's quite easy to overload with ink, but I got the hang of it eventually lol.. Definitely needs a very hard flat surface to print correctly though..

Put the bay item number on your wall :-) They've actually put the price up :-/ But still not as much as the R@nge xxx

Ok so first of all the above chuch is one Ive liked for ages BUT being divorced and being turned down twice from other churches I never bothered asking if we cold get married here. Instead we decided to have our pre wed shoot here so we could still include it in some way lol.

Anyway I was in a hmmm lets see mood a few weeks ago and emailed them asking for details etc. Got the info I needed and thought now to tell her I'm divorced!!!!
Her rely was ..........so am I when would you like to get married lol
Basically because they are classed as a civil venue and not a church (even tho the name has church in it) she said theres no problem me getting wed here I just need to show the registry office my degree absolute which I have to do anyway and away we go

SO plans have slightly changed hehehe this is now our ceremony venue and then we will go to the same venue we had before for the meal and reception for everything else
I'M THRILLED, h2b wanted to get married in church but was looking very grim but now it looks very very possiable hehehe

One draw back tho as it's a Sunday they only do an 11.00 time slot so need to see if it will work before we book but hopefully we can work something out

Changed the lace to black to match everything else and the writing to a dark charcoal so hopefully will look just as good when it comes!

I KNEW I'D SEEN THAT PLACE BEFORE !!!! We met with a photographer last night who had shot a wedding there !! I said to H2B, did you show me this the other day ???? Or was it Jake (my bro)... He was like, must've been Jake, but now I remember !! The pictures were absolutely stunning !! It really is an amazing venue hun xxx

Her name is Toni, their company is ********* in Lincoln, but they travel anywhere from what she said :-) She only shot that wedding a week or 2 ago though so no pics on their website yet.. She brought them as just prints as the couple haven't even ordered their album or disc yet.. xxx

I wouldn't bother giving thank you gifts to suppliers! Unless they really do go above and beyond... but it's unlikely!

They charge the fees they do because its your wedding and they HAVE to get it right!

You're paying them for their services!

If they're doing it as a favour, fair enough!

Those wands are really easy to make btw... they charge a fortune elsewhere for them. xx

I know it's not usual to buy gifts for suppliers but thats just me to be honest! Just like some people will tip theirs.
The ones I have brought for I have known for two three years now and have helped me in so many ways already...not just wedding related either hehe so just wanted to get them a little something extra besides the usual recomendation afterwards! Especially my cake lady whose my best friend and known for nearly 10 years now as she's doing my cake for free when she normally would charge £4-500 ;-) GREAT knowing people!

As for the wands yep I could prob make them myself but I dont have a diy bone in my body lol and found a fab deal for them :D

Incidentally most churches now do allow remarriage of divorcees. The rules for the anglicans changed a few years ago, and methodists have been able to do it for decades. Catholics don't allow it, and some of the more evangelical free churches might not, but it isn't nearly as restrictive as it used to be. Glad you got the venue you wanted.
