    Hello I'm brand new to ukbride and already know I'm going to love the site (I can imagine it gets quite addictive!) My partner and I are getting married in July 2016 and have just booked our venue :-)

    Now I'm after if anyone has any advice or has had/planning on a mint green colour scheme like me. My bridesmaids will of course be in mint green and I have no idea what colour suit my groom and best man/ushers would best suit the green?
    Does anyone have any pictures or ideas to help me, I'm scared black would be too harsh, grey too light and navy (although nice) don't want to incorporate another colour!? But so undecided and just need guidance :-)

    Any help would be great

    We had mint green but my bridesmaids were in purple. I wanted purple as my colour, but then did not want to have the men in purple so chose mint green for them. They wore charcoal suits with green cravats, my bouquet and the men's button holes were wrapped in green ribbon whilst the girls had purple to match their dresses. My shoes were mint been as well. Cakes were cupcakes, chocolate sponge and mint green icing (mint flavour).

    I think charcoal grey too. It seems to go quite well with lots of different colours. We're thinking of having it with our purple theme because black may be a bit funerally...

    I think charcoal grey would look lovely as well :) I really wanted mint green but h2b hates green and is not willing to compromise lol - we are going for pastel colours instead (one of which will be mint green hehe). I know you said you don't want to incorporate other colours, but I think baby pink looks lovely with mint green - even if just used in the bouquets x

    I think any shade of grey would look lovely. I think because mint green is a light shade a light grey would look lovely too.

    i'm having mint green and pale yellow, my H2B ad groomsmen are wearing charcoal grey (to make the mint green look more striking), H2B is going to wear mint green tie/cravat and the groomsmen will wear the yellow. My bridesmaids have got mint green long dresses and going to accessorise with sparkly silver, and i'm going to have mint shoes for the reception.

    Thank you everyone for your responses definitely agree that charcoal grey would make the mint green look more striking. Must tell H2B to look at grey suits and start searching for images! ...and ChristinaB38 LOVE the idea of wearing mint green shoes for reception!

    ChristinaB38 where did you find mint shoes?
    I searched all over & had just about given up when I came across some on eb@y. I ordered them 13 days ago so hopefully they'll arrive soon (shipping from USA). They are plainer than I wanted so I might have ago at blinging them up, not sure if I want to risk ruining them though!!

    We also can't decide on suit colour, I have ruled black out though, they remind me of funeral attire too.
