Got myself a little wobble going on this aft!

I am well aware I have plenty of time to change my mind, to adjust the details, etc. But the last 6 months have gone so fast in terms of planning, booking, ordering things for making, finding time for making etc. So yeah, time to change my mind, but would quite like to be gathering everything I need and starting to put things together bit by bit.

My wedding is almost entirely DIY, so there is A LOT to do!

I have recently fallen in love with a predominantly pale pink dress. I bought flowers a while ago to see whether I was really capable of making bouquets and was really happy with the results. I had originally made them in fuschia pink and decided a powder blue would be a beautiful complimentary colour and work beautifully together as summer wedding colours.

Now I am wondering if it's all going to be a bit too much colour with a pink wedding dress!! I am going to make my bridesmaids bouquets again anyway (because I left them in a window and they faded!) so I am thinking I can add white and paler pink into the bouquets to disperse the fuschia and just have that as an accent on the pale pink and blue theme.

The pinks go together, they both go with the blue. I may be having a bridezilla moment, I am not sure.

Pics of my dress, flowers (original) and colour theme ideas (original) are all in my album. I don't think I am particularly looking for advise, though it's always welcome or sympathy (again, it's always welcome!) I'm not even sure I am after reassurance. I think I just needed to have a good rant with other b2b!

Thank you! I think I am just having a bit of a downer day and it's all escalated. Perhaps a planning break for a few days. I am meeting a friend tomorrow at playgroup so might be able to look ar it with fresh eyes. If not, time for a break!

Hmm I may be with you... May be a bit too much pink, more white in the flowers would work though I think?x

If going for the pink dress, I would probably go with more pastel coloured flowers as anything too bright may look overpowering. Maybe something like whites/creams, pale pinks, pale lilacs and pale blues? xx

I think, I am not completely sure, but I think....... I'm gonna go for pale pink and a pale powder blue with splashes of fuschia, offset by splashes of white / ivory. The bridesmaids will (probably) be in the blue, so I may reserve the blue in the bouquets for my bouquet only. I have flowers in all these colours other than pale pink, which I shall order and then play around with the flowers until I find a colour ratio I am satisfied with. It will take a month or so for flowers to arrive, so I will attempt to put it to the back of my mind until they come and I can play!

Thanks ladies. I really appreciate your input and opinions.
