we ended up making the cardboard prop cut outs last night for the photo booth we are making :) they look fabby, im so pleased with them :)

also ive dedicated a corner of our front room for all the wedding stuff, so ive popped that all there, so can gather my thoughts on everything and it will make it easier on the day we need to take it all up to the venue :)

bought tie pin yesterday for my step dad * tick varnished the mr and mrs sign * tick (still gotta do another coat or two) ordered the ivory icing and pearl lustre, its due to arrive within the hour :) *tick sons shoes arrived *tick (he isnt keen as they are proper shoes and need wearing in) ordered another ring cushion as other one failed to turn up * tick (fingers crossed this one comes.
still to do! :- buy my brothers birthday present and card (his b .day is my wedding day :)) get a basket for my confetti fill out wedding book pick up picnic hamper for props from mil print pictures for activity bags and make name tags for them practice my cake lace butterflies put songs on to a disk take mirror out of our frame to use for photos :) buy thankyou gift for hairdresser, makeup lady (my cousin) and friend that is gonna hopefully sing at the signing :) still not sure what to get for them as a gift? (ideas welcome please) make "fancy a quiz cards" to go on table, already got the cards its just something to pop them on to intise them to play buy balloons collect bridesmaids dress when in at beginning of may try little toddler dress on her to double check size make a list for the venue on how the tables need to be set up table plan for venue to use with meal choices on decorate the bay trees
there is probably more but i cant think right now lol! that's enough for now!

Looks like there's only 5 on my hen night (including me!)
Most of my friends are either working, can't get sitters or live too far away to be bothered to come down twice in one month. Still it'll be small but fun.

had a great time on my hen do, Leasa i had lots of people cancel and had less than planned but it was still fun :) good idea about the ring cushion, i jst had one delivered and its lovely ;) been practicing making "cake lace butterflies" today for our cake, its so fiddly, im starting to go off the idea of using the stuff!

Slight dilemma on our side, best man informed us today he can't come!!!
Of all people! He's a freelance actor and offered 3 weeks work in s.africa ending on our wedding day, he won't make it in time...
P***ed off is an understatement. H2B is asking his cousin to be his best person instead, she's like a big sister to him anyway. But having paid flights, suit, gifts, venue/meal (@£80pp) ect already I'm tempted to send the bill to ex-best man and ask if the pay he gets for his last minute contract covers this, and was it worth it.

I was annoyed when I first found out. But luckily I'm not the type of person who holds on to anger for long...
I re-jigged the table plan, I contacted the flower lady to swap a button hole from best man to a female pin on corsage.
Sorted!

I wish I was like that; I can hold on to grudges and anger for a long time but as my sister and mum said; the people who want to be there will be there and as long as my close friends and family are there then sod the rest..
Even if I am now £70 out of pocket...I'll probably still give the 'page boy' his gifts as it is not his fault that his parents are useless and he was really looking forward to it a was his step sister..

so i get married in 18 days - had the most amazing hen weekend just got back - 12 of us in a lodge in cornwall - burlesque dancing experience, flow rider surfing simulator, hot tubbing, and lots of games and good food - only little thing was couldn't drink as found out i was pregnant last week! Managed to keep secret on hen do as am on antibiotics for kidney infection. However, maybe slightly tricky finding an excuse for the wedding!

got confirmation of my chair cover people finally, phew!
my hairdresser is sorting my hair out too :) yay! its all happening

i hate the rain, but we have had really strong wind here too! yuk! lets hope it clears for us hunny, fingers crossed and pray for sunshine xx
we have sorted our signs out, to point people in the right direction to the venue :) ive written my brothers birthday card,kids written one to uncle too! its his birthday on our big day :) phoned DJ and sorted out first dance song and requested no smoke machine as a guest is allergic (glad i remembered that phew) finished the "fancy a quiz" box :) sorted out amp, microphone and extension leads :)

Fri - bridesmaid dress try on and collect,buy jewellery and bag for her too! Sat - suit trial and collection Sun- my hair is getting coloured Mon- nails done Tue & we'd - cake making Thursday - take stuff to venue Friday - get married :)
