When I come to make mine I think I am going to buy a big bit of card (If I cant find any at work in the Art department!) and print the seperate tables off and then mount them on a purple piece of card and stick them on. I was hoping to send my design to a company for them to put onto card for me so ut would be a bit neater and not run the risk of things not gluing properly but I think that is expensive and havent really found anyone that could do that for me?

My design is in one of my photo albums.

I am not doing a 'normal' table planner. I will be getting cards and writing who is on that table then putting it onto a table tree.. I will see if I can find a pic of what I mean then put it on my albums. xxx

ShvonneD, you can make it on large card, say A2 or A1 size, if you want to make sure it's sturdy enough to stand without bending, it is best to bond the card onto some mounting board to make it extra thick. I have made my own table plan before and am making my own for my wedding and it's the best way to make sure it doesn't buckle under its own weight. You can get the materials at a reasonable price on the bay of e, and saves you paying full whack for someone to make one for you, and then postage to send it xxx

I bought a cork type memo board from the base of Home. think it was about a tenner. I'll back it with paper and then stick printed table lists to blue backing paper, stick a bit of ribbon on
I've seen large photo frames used too.
If you search the bay of e or similar as if you wanted to buy one, you get some brilliant ideas to copy :-)

I've bought an old frame from a second hand shop. Big big size. Have painted it cream and distressed it, taken the glass out, used cream texture linen to use as the back, and then will be mounting my table cards with table names etc onto it.

Hi, there are a few wedding shops or even shops that you will find them in. Some craft shops will also do them, but a lot of them you will find on the bay of e xx

You're welcome :) We didn't want the traditional one and I think you can really personalise the memo holder style ones. I have seen them with butterflies, plain shapes and different colours too, you just have to look around if that's what you end up doing xx

Oh nothing major, I just cant do any more until we confirm our menu lol! When we do that, I can then put the menu options in the invites and do our menu choice cards. x

I have a pic of mine in my album if that helps?

So far I have directions, hotels and the invite stuck on the card with the Menu to add when finalised. The RSVP card I got 100 for a VERY reasonable price from bay of E and I am putting my menu cards (which will be the same size as RSVP) in teh RSVP envelope.

Must admit, took me a while to decide the layout and how to include everything.
