Hi Ladies i am due to have my hen night at the end of April and we are doing fancy dress the theme is 1970's hippie/disco/psychedelic outfits, we were all going to wear these but i have now decided to make mine different from the other hens and want to wear an old 1970's/1978(year i was born) wedding dress the trouble im having is that the dresses ive seen so far are either way too small or cost a fortune. As its for my hen night ideally i only wanted to spend around £30 for an outfit. i was wondering if you ladies knew of anywhere that sells these dresses cheap or maybes know someone who has one that i could buy/borrow from for the night, the size i'm looking for would probably's have to be 14-16 as it needs to be a 34 inch waist and 34-36 inch bust.

Failing finding an actual wedding dress, could you look at white outfits... like a white hippy outfit or something?

DonnaH39 i've actually got that exact one in my watch list but not entirely sure if its what i'm looking for its all the spots that are putting me of it i know its for fancy dress but still want to really like it to wear it, i did originally look at the fancy dress wedding outfits but thought it would be fun to actually wear a dress they did back in the days. xx
