wowwww- im so happy! we are having our sit down meal at our local pub/restraunt and found out they also do outside catering so i asked them for a quote. Just had a quote for £200, to feed 40 guests. food containing:
* A selection of sandwiches (ham, cheese etc) * Sausage rolls * Chicken bites * Quiche * pork pie * scotch eggs * Selection of crisps * chicken drumsticks * sausage/cheese on sticks
i think thats a fab price?- does anyone disagree?
also having a choice of 4 meals and 4 puddings- which im doing the menus for-so exciting!!!

Thats brilliant, we've been quoted £13.50 per head for our evening buffet by our venue so that is definetely a fab price. Well done you x

Yes fab we have been quouted £10.50 per head or if we decide on rolls and sausage and rolls and bacon which I think we are going with it is £6.50 per head x

Our's is normally £7.95 pp for a similar selection to what you are having. However the hotel have offered us, bacon, sausage and egg sarnies for £4.00pp, much better idea me thinks! So your getting it for approx £5.00pp which is a very good price hun!

Thats brill. I was quoted by the reception venue £3.50/head for Sandwiches, Crisps, Pizza slices and a load more stuff. when the menu came through though it was rubbish. not even half of what they said and there was no puddings either. On their menu lists there was a perfect selection but was £6.50/head. As we cant afford this for 90 people. However I was putting the deposit down for our wedding cake and happened to remark on this to the manager (who i was speaking to) and she said they do outside catering for special occasions. She had a look at the menu for the reception venue which i was given and said she could do roughly the same as the £6.50/head menu but all for £3.50/head. The only thing is there wont be cold meat platters or seafood (that wont get eaten anyway) Plus she said instead of having a selection of cupcakes, She'll chuck in a massive cheesecake and a gigantically massive chocolate cake.
