Had a phone call yesterday from the dress shop. My dress is ready! Got a pre-fit in a couple of weeks time where I can prance around the shop in it (their words not mine!).

Very exciting and it's all starting to feel real now :o)

I had my pre-fit last night and the dress is amazing! My Mum unfortunately couldn't make it so one of my friends came with me and she nearly cried when I walked out of the dressing room. There was another girl in the shop trying dresses and even the ladies that were with her gushed when they saw me. I didn't want to take it off.

I tried it with my wedding glasses, shoes and my sample bouquet that our florist put together for me, and I've chosen my jewellery to go with it. After much discussion I've agreed with the shop assistant and decided that no bra is required because the dress is so structured that there's little chance of falling out of it. My first proper fitting is in February.
