well why don't you search the 3 main parties on google and read their policies.. Then you can't grumble about the country going to pot, cause you'll have tried.. maybe whoever you vote for will get/stay in anyway.
Plus you only get a minimum of £7 an hour if you can straigh away get a job in your field.. we're still in the reccession, so jobs aren't exactly booming at the minute.. x

I agree LJO - I hate all the posters and banners in peoples windows - and even worse, on the grass verges near the main duel carriageways.

It's ok putting the minimum wage upto £7 ph - but in the long run it will either cost employers money they can't afford, as employees that are more experienced will expect/want higher rates of pay (as they can't stay on a rate of pay equal to minimum pay) - or there will be more unemployment because the smaller employers won't take on someone on minimum wage because it will be too expensive. At the moment a lot of employers will take them on because it's 'cheap labour'. I know from experience that almost always lately someone is taken on in my career who are usually just starting out because it's cheaper to employ them.

I don't find it particularly great minimum wage going up to £7 an hour.. Cause the price of things will only rise anyway. And I can't even claim Jobseekers, due to being unable to seek work due to immobility. And I Apparently Cannot claim any benefits either :s how the blooming heck does that work? So if you ask me.. I'm only gunna vote Lim Dems, for the simple fact that it's something different and maybe will change something, cause there's not much else that they can affect me with anyway x

Employment and Support Allowance... it's for people who can't claim income support and people who can't do Job Seekers Allowance because their are incabable of working because of an illness/dissability... whether it's physical or mentally..

You can either claim it by contributions based (is around £64ish per week and after the assement phase it goes up to £91 per week) or if it's your sole income then you can go on income based..

Or Dissability Living Allowance... same sort of reasons for applying you can get a minimum of £18 per week :D xx
