Hi everyone. I've not been on here for a while as I've been crazy busy getting everything sorted. I had my first fitting the other day for my dress..... it's beautiful and I feel like a princess in it.... BUT.........
It's got lace and beading on the bodice and after only 20 minutes of fitting and walking around the shop I noticed it was starting to rub the soft inner part of my upper arms where they touch the dress...... now I'm really worried that only a few hours into my wedding I won't be able to put my arms down by my sides without it really hurting and rubbing my skin......
Has anybody else found this or does anyone have any idea what I could do to stop my arms being rubbed too much on the day?
    I'm really at a bit of a loss....... :'(

Normally when you go for your fittings the seamstress can remove any beading etc under your arms thats bugging you . As i tryed on a dress like that and mentioned that the beading there woud bug me and they said that could be easly removed for your comfort.

Completely understandable why you're worried, I would be! It would definitely be worth contacting a seamstress. Your comfort comes first!

Defo talk to the seamstress otherwise if you leave it you will be scratched all day which is never good on a normal day let alone your wedding day !

I agree with the others, speak to your seamstress about removing them.

I ruled out a gorgeous dress for a similar reason Bernadette by maggie, the shoulders were beaded lace and drove me nuts, only had it on for a few minutes, the shop assistant said they could remove any beads that annoyed me, but it can be costly.

It's worth asking though, I've not been as lucky as others for bargains, and all the places I've been charge extortionate alteration fees and refused discounts on any accessories regardless of how much I might spend on a dress.
