Wedding Forum - I'm having second thoughts on my wedding...

Hi girls

I hate to be someone who says this but I am having serious issues with my dress!
Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE the dress. It's stunning and all lace which is what I always wanted. However, I am your typical pear shaped girl and i always said I would never go for a fitted dress! However as it happens a lot, I went for a dress I never dreamed I would like. I found it at the national wedding show. So I never had that special 'me' time in a store trying on dresses - surrounded by lots of other girls.
I tried the dress on in May when it came in after I had ordered it. As it was new, sparkly and fresh, the fabric was a tad snug. It's was much more fishtail then the store one I tried on. I'm really worried it's clinging around my stomach and hips too much and makes me look all hips!! I still love the dress but I don't know if it suits me and I should have gone for something with an A line skirt!
Please girls - I don't know you so would like honest opinions here. All my family and friends say it's still lovely but think they are just saying that because they don't want to be honest.
I have been trying to time up and lose a bit of weight so it's not so tight around my tummy but I begrudge losing weight for my wedding. Please have a look and let me know honestly.

I think it's natural to worry about body parts we are not used to having dresses cling to, but trust me it looks absolutely stunning on you and definitely suits you! It doesn't look too snug at all, I'm actually quite jealous :)

I think you and the dress looks gorgeous; it is tight across the stomach but so what? You have the figure for it so stop worrying :)

I have had exactly the same thing also being a typical and classic pear shape! I am so glad I saw this thread as having exactly the same concerns about mine!!! But seeing you in yours has made me realise that its ridiculous! You look amazing!!

The dress is beautiful I think doubts is normal given its going to be the most important dress of our lives. However that being said when i tried on the A-line gowns I just felt too princessy? But looking at pictures I think 'I want to be a princess haha' and it would cover up my hips.....seeing you in yours and thinking how amazing you looks makes me feel better too!! You look amazing!!!!

The dress is lovely and looks lovely on you. It's really suits your figure.
