I went shopping today and I think it's finally happened, I've fallen in love with a dress!!! I loooove it :D I tried it on twice and said I look pretty but will withhold judgement until I go back and try it again :) xx

I may have found the one as well... no pics though, thought I'd found the one at the first shop we went to as only liked one of them... and yes I did really like it, but the others were rubbish-so I think that made me like it even more. Then at the second shop, I loved them all and there was one in particular.
My plan is when my bridesmaids are up in two weeks I'm going to try one more shop, try on as many as possible and then go back to that one and try my favourite and my second favourite and see if I still feel the same and see what my bridesmaids think.
When are you trying yours on again?

It is, it's so simple but so elegant and effortless :) I just love it and totally fallen in love. I don't even want to go to my other appointments really but I'll keep an open mind and you never know, they might even sell my one cheaper!! :D xx

No worries, I knew what you meant! Yes, we put the two pics beside each other and compared and we all think they look lovely together :) I think it's airing on the side of caution... It's being excited but at the same time ruling with your head. More brides should do it! What's your dress?? I'm itching to see a pic! I've just realized that you only get married the Saturday before me :D x

Thank you ladies! Good news, I was almost talking myself out buying the dress as it was so expensive but I just spoke to a relative and they've heard the dilemma with the dress price who then reminded me that they were going to contribute to my dress anyway (which I'd momentarily forgotten) and have offered to give me £500 towards it!!!! Overjoyed!!!! I can get my dream dress!!!!!!! xxx

It is very strange isn't it. Sounds like we had very similar days yesterday and today.
I think you should... unless you want to leave it a couple more weeks, I don't know if I could wait until summer to try mine on again lol. I'd be back next weekend if I didn't already have the plans to go the following weekend with my bridesmaids in tow as well.

We were hoping that it would be but the cathedral had graduation ceremonies on the 3rd and 4th so they'll be packing up on the 5th and there was also the problem that if they overran, it would overrun onto our day which we soooo didn't want so they suggested that 15th August 2015 would be a better option unsurprisingly!! ;) Thank yooooou, I love it I love it I love it!!!!!! xx

Good news on my dress ladies - Spoke to another shop who use the same designer as mine and has said that as she doesn't have that one in stock, she can offer me a discount and will do the dress for £999 instead of almost £1,200!! Going to meet her on Friday with my OH to see what she's like and if we feel happy ordering my dress from her shop so a successful day wedding-wise :) xx

Oh yes definitely, I know it's the one as yesterday I didn't think I'd be able to afford it and was crying in the kitchen (crying over dress!!) until I spoke to my benefactor (can't say who as it would cause probs in the family!) and they are helping me with money towards my dress so I can get and when they told me, I went bounding round the living room whooping!!!! I've also been trying to find cheaper alternatives of the same dress.... There's no way I'd go to those lengths just for a dress! I'm not one for shopping but this dress is so special :) xxx

Well we've just got back from the shop who have offered to get my dress for the cheaper price and WOW! The lady was the nicest woman I've come across in the business, we feel so comfortable ordering my dress through her. She was so knowledgeable and kind but didn't push her products/sale down our throats so the ball is totally in our court! The best part - She will do my dress for £999 at the longer length, with sleeves and the corset so if I wanted the extra length on the train, the most I'd have to pay extra is about £60 which is even better! All I have to do is hope that when I go to try it on again tomorrow, I still love it! Very successful day so far :) xx
