i have just bought info cards from the bay and need to sumit the wording.
This is the following info that needs to be included accomodation gift poem dress code music requests adult only ceremony/reception.
Now i was wondering how do i word the accomodation bit? can i just say if you are planning on staying at the hotel you can book in the following ways... then give all the details.
Not really sure to be honest. think i am ok with the rest xx

Our venue is discounting the rooms for our guests so our wording will be:
"Our venue is offering a discounted room price of ___ to those of you who would like to stay over and join us for breakfast the following morning. If you would like to take advantage of this, please contact the hotel on _____ and remember to mention that you are part of the ____ wedding party"

i like the sound of that. We are found that if guests book on travel republic they can get them cheaper than the hotel is offereing even with a discount , but it has given me an idea of how to word it...thanks xx

we added a b and b list as our hotel was quite expensive so you could always put summat like that there or put the website down that you saw the deal to save people searching it shows you have thought of them in their eyes xx

I like the wording, pennieb, nice and clear.
I started a wedding blog for free with links to local accommodation, including the one that we've agreed a discount with because that's where we're having the ceremony. I'll post a link on my page if anyone wants to have a look.
Actually, accommodation is the only part of the blog that is complete. I will need to work on the rest - maps, directions, travel info etc.
But I'm not sending the invites with the web address until Easter, so there's plenty of time yet, thankfully.
i havent need to add hotels as its a same wedding and all live in the area! sorry cant help there! x

I also have the same thing as you can book my venue cheaper than the rooms they are saving. I'm going to put something like:
Executive rooms can be booked at a discounted rate of ____ by ringing reception and quoting Kevin and Joanne's wedding. Cheaper rooms are available if booked through __________ website although these are not guaranteed to be executive rooms and may be limited in availability.
Other accommodation in the area: list of others with prices. The bride and groom have not personally vetted any of the above accommodations and leave the responsibility of each guest to source and pay for their own accommodation.
