    Hi all,
My cake lady is doing me a fab plain square 3 tier
    Wedding cake for £100. 12" chocolate, 8" sponge & 4" fruit
She did my daughters christening cake and it was gorgeous. She's doing for such a good price as she's happy for me to buyAll the decoration bits myself (good old eBay) and she will put it all together
I'm having fresh flowers to decorate - I love lime greenSpider mum flowers so am having some on top
Of the top tier and one in the corners of the lower tiers
I've brought the crystal rhinestone initials for comingOut the top of the top tier flowers. Ive brought posy picks
For the fliwers to sit in and the inial wires, I've brought exact shadeRibbon for round the tiers and am looking to buy
Some of the crystal rhinestone banding for attaching
To the bottom of the tiers, ribbon is wider at 1" and just
Want 2 or 3 row rhinestone banding at the very bottom (so
You will see the ribbon still.

Sorry for waffle my question is

How does the cake lady attach the rhinestone
Banding as she's not done one using this before
I know you can get imitation rhinestone ribbon
Which is easy to fix, but I prefer the look of the
    More real rhinestone banding
I know they have said that its easy to cut, but
My thoughts are that it could be quite heavy so
How is it fixed in place on the cake????

I've read someone used pearl head pin or t pin
But surely that's not good to stick in the cake??
Am hoping someone's used this stuff before and can
    Help!!!!

Cant she use dress pins with pearls on the end and just pin it straight into the cake? Thats how I would do it.

You use edible glue or royal icing to stick it. You can use a pearl headed pin but only if it is foodsafe
