    Hi all,

I'm getting married in April 2016 & have been browsing wedding dresses. Is it too soon to go trying them on?

I personally would say it's just a smidge toooo early, but that's just my opinion. I'm getting married June 2016 and won't be going to try on dresses until around Easter time next year. For me, I wouldn't want to choose a dress now and then regret my choice nearer the time. My taste has changed so much in the past few years so there's a chance my taste could change again! Remember there will also be new collections coming out :)

On the flip side though, if you find a dress that you do absolutely love then I guess you wouldn't want to miss out on your dream dress :) it's not too early if you don't think it is, we all have different opinions and ways of doings things! :) x

it depends! do u just want ab ideanso when the "real" dress shoppin starts you know roughly what style to aim for or are you wanting to prchase and pay over time so in the long run you dont feel such a hole in your pocket?

my wedding is july 2015 we went shopping this july and paid deposit.. im paying it off over the nxt few mnth it was originaly to be paid by december but ill pay it off by october.

then i can save again for alterations.

    good luck and enjoy!!

I don't see why not :) I got married last June and I went dress browsing as soon as I got engaged 2 years before we got married. It gave me a good idea then of what styles I liked and what to look for plus was all good fun :) x
