I'm having Irish Coffee Cake and a plain sponge I think. I did try a raspberry and white chocolate with coconut one at a wedding fair on Sunday there and it was amazing... but not sure. I'll keep watching here for tips xx

We're having 3 tier (square) fruit cake that my dad's making and my sil is decorating. 2 tiers have already been made and will be fed regularly :)
I can't stand fruit cakes but my H2B really want one for the christening of our first born. So we are having it has the top tier and the bottom two will be two sponge cakes.

We dont like fruit cake either so definately not!
We are having a three tier cake all flavoured sponge; bottom layer vanilla, middle Bailey's and top lemon.
We are also having it decorated with sugarveil - our cake designer didnt mention anything about it being hard to use in the UK though. Might have to pose the question now lol!

We had three tiers (and an extra Hello Kitty cake) - the bottom was fruit and the others were sponge all from M&S. My mum took the fuit tier and was giving it out to guests for months afterwards! The sponge tiers we brought in to work so I don't think I actually had any of my wedding cake!

Not us neither of us like fruit cake and h2b has a nut allergy and sometimes they have nuts in We will probably have 2 chocolate fudge tiers and one plain as my dad doesn't eat chocolate

We have a 4 tiers, 1) Victoria sponge 2)lemon 3) chocolate orange 4) fruit cake. We picked the fruit cake as the top for the few people (grandparents) that have said 'ooo you have to have fruit cake it tradition' :-) xxx

We're having 3 tiers and then also an iced fruit cake which we will ask them to put out with the rest once it's cut.
Not sure on the flavours of our 3 tiers yet though.... hmmmm.... decisions

We're having a sponge cake for ours instead as neither of us are keen on fruit cake, but we have been contemplating having the top tier normal sponge cake for us to cut, and doing the others as different flavoured cupcakes below:) xoxox

We're having a chocolate sponge cake and vanilla cupcakes :) I hate fruit cake!

We're having a 4 tiered cake, and our base one will be a fruit one (we will cut the 2nd tier as the upper tiers will need to be eaten quicker). Our 3 other tiers are victoria sponge, lemon and chocolate.

We're having a 5 tier cake, probably square shaped. 3 tiers will be for the guests and whoever on the day and then the other smaller 2 tiers will be one each for me and my OH as we both have different favourites lol! Mine is going to be fruit cake without marzipan and my OH's will be chocolate fudge I think. Haven't fully decided what the other tiers will be but I like the sound of white chocolate fudge cake that someone else posted as white chocolate is lush! :D
