Hopefully we will be getting married 24th May 2013. I hopefully will be having 3. My little girl who will be 6 by the time will be the flower girl, my best mate hopefully will be my maid of honour, not asked yet.....and my h2b niece who i think will be around 10. Well thats if she wants too anyway.

hi again, ref the question 'are we paying for all the dresses?' were paying for the 6 youngest and my oldest daughter whos 21, the others will pay for their own, 3 of my maids are dutch so will need to get their dresses made to the design were having and bring them over with them,but still...an expensive game!! xx

At the minute i'm having three... my wedding isnt until 2014, but I may even cut it down to two! One of them hasnt shown the slightest bit of interested in the wedding at all so far, apart from feeling the need to ask how much it was then say "God...i could think of better things to spend all that money on"....I'd feel a bit awkward now though if I went back on it considering I asked her in November 2010..eeek xxx

Ooo this is interesting.. I have 3 of the best girlies you could ever meet and my oh sister.. I also have 2 nieces (well 1 is a bump but will be nearly 2 when we get married) not sure if to have them involved yet as we are on a tight budget!
So difficult to plan a seating plan as im not having a moh to sit at the main table.. xx

Just two bridesmaids :) H2b has two brothers, who he picked to be his best man and groomsman, so that sort of decided how many we'd be having! Am an only child though so no sisters, and choosing was so difficult, didn't know how to pick between friends so I still feel bad not to have asked the others, boo :(

If my mum had her way I'd probably have ten bridesmaids too! I'd decided on my three best friends and my sister to be my bridesmaids, but mum wants me to have my three cousins as bridesmaids AND two girls who are family friends that I have been friends with since I was a baby. I'd love to have those two as BMs too, so maybe I'll end up with six? Just seems like loads though :S

So ive now got 3 bms. My sister and my 2 good friends. (I did have 5 but unfortually i found out 2 of these werent my true friends so i sacked them as bm's and now I dont speak to 1 and hardly talk to the other! its a shame but im glad i found out before the big day!)
I have recently debated on asking 2 other girls i know from work to be bms. I dont wana rush into it just for the sake of having lots of bms so im taking my time thinking about it and why i would want them. But i see more of these girls then half of my own friends and theyve been so helpful and excited about wedding plans! I asked them both to come to my evening do and they both replied straight away thanking us and how privileged they are to be invited! NON of my other friends i also asked have replied or even mentioned it!! I do consider them to be good friends.
My sister and one of my friends have been quite helpful but tbh ive done most of the work. And it has been hassle trying to get everyone together just to talk wedding plans or look for their shoes! But they are slowly starting to help more now!

I have 3 bridesmaid who have been my best friends for years then h2b 2 neices as junior bridesmaid. H2B brother in law is his best man then my brother and his brother as ushers.

I have six bridesmaids, one flower girl and two page boys. A large part of it is made up of two families. I lodge with a friend from church who has three children, so she is matron of honour, and she has two daughters and a son who will be bridesmaids page boy. Her best friend is also a matron of honour, as I have become close to her as well. Then I have the family that my parents are godparents to. The older boys won't be doing anything, but the eldest daughter is bridesmaid and the youngest two are flower girl and page boy. Then I have my fiance's sister. It's a lot but I couldn't cut it down, and honestly didn't want to cut it down.

Oh we alos have two best men and six ushers. The best men are H2Bs best friend and his foster brother, and the ushers are three other close friends, my two brothers, and H2Bs nephew.

Hi all :)
I'm getting married on 26.09.14 (can't come quick enough if you ask me hehe), but as I've got a very big family we're only having a small daytime of 30 guests consisting of immediate family. I'm only having the 1 BM, my best friend as my MoH however will this not look odd only having 1 person trailing behind you down the aisle/standing on her own and would it be best if she sat during the service?

We're having 3 adult BMs, MOH and our sons as pageboys, plus just a best man. Asked my four closest and oldest friends to be BM/MOH. Thought it might be too many but will probably work better having more with the walking up aisle song I like lol!
