Just wondering if I could get a bit more info on a Cyprus wedding! & just wondering what you guys are planning for your special day.
Me & my partner have booked our holiday for 2 weeks in the summer holidays next year. We booked through Thomson & have put forward to wedding dates just waiting for the weddings team to contact me back to confirm If the dates are available.
I've completed a wedding booking form:
How long did in take for the wedding team to confirm dates ? & how were u contacted ?? Thanks xxx

Hi Gemma!
I am getting married May 2013 in Cyprus. We went for a holiday in June this year to Cyprus and made all of the arrangements whilst we were there. We had decided to do it ourselves instead of going through a travel agent.
We have found a beautiful venue and so far the planning has been stress-free.
If you would like any more info....let me know :-)

I am getting married September 2013 at St Elias Gardens, My partner and I went to Cyprus in July this year to check out the venue and our reception and loved it all.
We have been going to Cyprus for years and we love it. The beaches are amazing, the weather is always sunny and everyone speaks good english which makes life alot easier. We have booked our wedding at the Nissi Beach which is absolutely stunning for this June. For the ceremony bookings we used ***********s as we didn't want to go through a travel company to book everything as lots of our friends who have been married abroad said it would work out cheaper and nicer if we chose our suppliers ourselves. Try as there are lots of groups on there especially LINK REMOVED I also booked my wedding photographer LINK REMOVED and got lots of help from her with regards to makeup, florists and cake makers. I think Cyprus is a great place if you are looking for a wedding destination abroad.
EDIT - AS YOU WILL SEE THE LINK YOU HAVE POSTED HAVE BEEN REMOVED , PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO PUT THEM ON YOUR WALL AND DIRECTED MEMBERS THERE .
PLEASE READ THE RULES THREAD REGARDING THE POSTING OF LINKS ON THE FORUM

I have just booked my 2014 wedding. I got the date and time confirmed 24 hours after i booked it. I only had to pay a deposit and the balance not till i arrive. I would defo recommend booking direct with a planner rather than a tour operator. The choice of venues are limited with a tour op and the prices for extras were a rip of. I booked everything through my planner direct and got so much more for my money. I found regardless of my budget she had something for everyone. I used paphosweddingsmadeeasy and would recommend the girls to anyone looking for a cyprus wedding.

Hi, i am new to this site,i am thinking of getting married in Cyrpus next year, possibly May, unfortunately we are on a budget, we are looking at planning/booking things ourselves, we are looking at booking a villa and getting married on a beach, does anyone know how we sort out the paperwork and any other advice would be welcomed, the difficulty i forsee is having the ceremony on the beach as we are staying in a villa and not a hotel, but we were thinking, if we could maybe having the ceremony on the beach attached to the hotel and the reception in the hote?
