When I went a choose my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses I had the best time and the women in the shop were so lovley and so patient! they even provided the younger children with toys to play with why we were looking at dresses and they had to wait inbetween dress changes! (didn't take kids when i picked my dress! not that crazy!) and today I have spoke to a friend of mine who is getting married in 5 weeks and has brought her dress from the same shop, she said the staff were horrible and stuck up, and were very rude! she then put it on facebook and everyone added comments about the bad experience thay had with the shop! It seems as if i am the only person who has had a good time with them!!
Am I being stupid to worry, that there attitude towards me might change??

She did I spoke to her when she picked the dress and she said they were great!!
I spoke to my dad as I rant often to him, he says it could be the way that they were towards them, as some people who go into stores treat people like s*** becasue they feel they are lower than them! I feel confident in them and don't want to go to another shop I have already paid deposits which I would loose! I just worry about everything, but it is so long away it seems silly to worry!

Hi, I think this can happen with any retail store...not just a wedding dress shop. People have different experiences with the staff. If you have had a good experience, stick with it.

Just give them a chance, they've treated you well so far, so why not give them the benefit of the doubt? Maybe they had a staff training team exercise cos they knew they'd lost customers!?

My advice would be continue as you have been...if they have been nothing but professional then you have no problems?

IF it does turn sore you are aware of their 'bad press' and let them know...

Sooo subjective, what some people find rude, others don't. Don't worry about it. If you're happy with them, that's all that matters! Maybe she was unpleasant to them in some way?
