My hair and make-up trial is costing £60, and while I know it is well worth it so you have plenty of time to think about how you want it on the day - it seems such a waste, I assume you have to take it all down and take the make-up off as you wont want your H2B to see it all!!! Im having my trial on a Wednesday, maybe I should have gone for a Friday so at least I could have gone out with the girls after to make the most of it!!! x

I sort of agree..and then I think jeeeez what if I look a right fright sooooooooooooooooo atleast you know NOW things have to change!

I'm having mine done on a Friday for that reason lol! I agree it's a waste when it comes to having to take it off quite soon after but other than that reason I think it's best to have one as you won't have that kind of time to play around with different looks on the day! I know a few brides who knew exactly what they wanted and had the trial and hated it because it didn't suit them but were able to try other things out and also the stylist can give some really valuable tips as to what will suit your face shape etc x

I havn't really got a clue what I want, so a trial is a must really - I know I want it up and my hair is so fine that it doesn't look much whens its up so I'll need a hair piece, so will need to get that sorted out. Maybe I should ring her back and see if I can change it!?!?

I had my 1st hair trial a few month back and I hated it! Going for another one in a couple of weeks. xx
I think I'm hoping mine will give me some tips too such as how to get my skin in tip top condition, if I should have semi permanent lashes applied, or falsies on the day, and if I should have full highlights or can get away with my normal half head.
I want really wacky make-up - anyone going for anything unusual?

Our make up trial is 10th April but its my friend who owns the shop so I know i will like it. xx

Kizzy - I don't know about wacky (although I'm sure people say that about my normal make-up) but I certainly don't want to be the typical 'natural' bride with blusher and nude lipstick. I spend my life in bright coloured eyeshadow and glitter, so that's what I want for my wedding day.
I'm a way off a trial yet, but I hope someone'll see that trying to make me look 'naturally beautiful' is a lost cause :)

l've not planned make up trial yet! but l am planning my hair trial in two salon's so that l can split the bridal party! it might sound tight but as l have 5BM l can't afford to pay for all the trials and l don't think the salon's will cope with them all turning up at the one, god l'm stressed just thinking about it, and that's just the hair.. l would defo need make up trial too but as you say l'm gonna plan that for a weekend day so l can go out lol x

V43 my cousin had 4 bridesmaids, herself, her mum and grooms mum having their hair done on day, she organised it in shifts so two went to the salon together then the next two came and the 1st two went back to the house for make up. It can be done just needs planning and an early start!! having my hair done by the hairdresser my mum has used for last 10 years and we've agreed at my next appointment we'll have a play with my hair and try and get some ideas (although i know exactly what i want- hair up with veil lowish down at back and hair wrapped in circle around veil with a silver butterfly hair slide at front on left hand side). x x
