how soon should we get started on Guest lists I have a feeling of how many people I wont to invite I know who I have to invite but the budget we have sorta worked on already isn't going to cover it all I suspect.

how soon should I work out exact numbers

Sit down with H2B and start a list together. Then once you have a completed list and if it is far too many for your budget start taking people off either your not that close to them or their is someone else you would have at the wedding before you would chose them etc to get it down to a reasonable number for your budget!!! xx

we have already done our list, we have got to the maximum number we are allowed so cannot add any more, so it has to stay as it is, we needed to know how many so as to work out a budget for the venue x

We have already sat down and wrote our list...we needed to know numbers for venue hunting before we booked ours due to having around 100 day guests not everywhere holds that many for the ceremony etc. Will defo change for evening guests etc but its a rough guide x

We knew we had to have 60 or more to get free room hire on our venue so we are have pretty much stuck with that for the last 9 months!!! And now with only 3 months or so to go it hasn't changed much!

PERSONALLY, I got onto the guest list task PDQ .. you have a good while to figure out who goes to what etc...you will need to know how many guests etc when you want to book the Registry office (if you are having one?) or the other wedding venue.

we are getting married in the church I work for so when it comes to people for the actual service that can hold 350 which means all the people I work with at church can come to that bit which is nice. clearly can't have them all to the reception our buget wont stretch to that lol
