Apologies if the wrong topic but had to share my bargin from British of the home stores. Four candy jars different sizes reduced from £30 to £11.99 so if you want budget sweety table, these are ideal! Xx

That's fab!! I know at some point, not sure if they still do, but the supermarket beginning with S had glass jars you could use for sweetie table at really cheap prices xxx

I just use old sauce jars, like the dolmio ones, everytime i do a lasagne or carbonara, i keep the jars. I'll individually put different sweets on top, add a square piece of material and tie with twine. Instant favours for no money at all. I don't like the idea of an open buffet simple because of hands and not knowing where they've been, and we've got a fair amount of children, so little hands and mouths, so i prefer individual jars, and doing as a big decor piece across the table.
Thanks MrsMoran :) Bit of a health and safety freak i suppose lol. I'll lay them out all around the table add some bunting and cupcakes, and then at the end people can pick them up and go! Plus i worried with a sweetie buffet it'll fill up people before the big buffet later in the evening, which i would of paid a lot of money for. I am having a chocolate fountain tho haha :) xx
