Hallo, had a really productive wedding day today, decided to get my great grans ring made bigger for me, and found out that it dates from 1861, so it could even be my great grans grandmars ring, which is amazing, AND found BM shoes for £15, they are perfect, YAY!

I know, I was going to use a cheap white gold one from the auction site, but after reading some posts on here you girls convinced me that its really quite important to have a good ring, its gonna cost a bit to have it made bigger, it was an I, but its going to be so worth it.

That's the same as mine -his mother has had it in a drawer for years and really wanted someone to have it - I couldnt find any rings that I really liked so we gladly took her up on the offer!!

Tradition is a lovely thing isnt it :o)

How fantastic! I would have loved to have used a family heirloom but when my Mum and Dad got divorced my Mum made her wedding ring into another ring!

Ha, my mum did that too, she had her wedding and engagement ring made in to 1 for me for my 21st, was a massive surprise, dont think my dad was to impressed, even though they got divorced when I was 5!
