I'm not in the best frame of mind for work tonight. I've had about four hours sleep, got up nobody home, made a cuppa, then hubby came back, lounged about trying to sleep very unsuccessfully as there was a highlands game thing going on at the park, lots of cannons going off and bagpipes. Then at just after 5, hubby said why don't you go to bed. I replied as I like to eat by 6 so that I can chill after, refreshes me. At 530 I gave up, got up and started cooking dinner, at not one point did he say he would carry on, then the kids came home, nobody wanted any of it so I turned it all off and went upstairs. When he realised I was not going to do anything about it he finished it off, by this stage I had gone beyond wanting it so just laid on the bed, showered and just came down, no cuppa made for me so had to do that myself, and dinner sat on the table as if I am going to eat it 15 mins before leaving. So not only am I hungry, I am tired, not the best mix for another night shift.

Is it me just being stupid, or does anyone else think that hubby was a bit selfish laying On the sofa watching the Grand Prix whilst I done everything, and not having a cuppa made for when I came down seeing as in the mornings I always do that for him!

Yeah that does sound bad... I had a similar conversation with mine on Friday night as he finished work at 1 and he now has 3 weeks off as shutdown so said he was going out for drinks for a few hrs with the work mates as a celebration ... I was already at work when he finished,worked til 8pm, got home then the kids got bk. I got them in bed etc ( bearing in mind h2b said he was gonna be bk before 5... So thought great ooh he might use common sense and start making dinner that I'd left in the fridge) but oh no, he didn't come in til just gone 9pm!!! After I'd worked all that time, tired feeling rundown, pregnant, p'd off that I couldn't have a drink and he said 'it's ok' ..... Oh I could have knocked his teeth out!!
