Went shopping today got LO new pjs and vests and a couple of tops. Got myself nothing as usual lol. Amaz0n are doing £10 off a £50 spend today so on ordering pressies for LO bday. Just need to spend another £6 to make up the 50. Don't want to order books though as he has tons. MrsMW I know your LO loves thomas is there any thomas stuff u wud recommend? LO into Thomas at the min too!

Film was the biggest load of poop I've ever seen.
My youngest tried her blazer on today, it was the one my other daughter grew out of, it's too small for her so going to have to buy one. Was hoping to save some money.

Danielle- my LO loves anything Thomas. There's a push along thomas with a handle and pops up balls inside which is good or there's the motion thomas where you get a bat with a Thomas and wherever you put the bat thomas moves away from it.

Morning all.
Wanted to stay in bed and have a long lay in but my body would not allow it. Got a night shift tonight, just a one off. Hopefully my garden furniture is being delivered today, should be anyhoo. Got Freddie for a bit whilst his Mummy has a driving lesson. Then cooking a roast for everyone as both step kids are here tonight for dinner. Told hubby that it is going into pots on the table for help yourself and if he is not back he is not back and hope there is enough. I am not messing about.

its lovely here this morning but its windy.
been laughing at hubby this morning he really is an idiot we had an old plant in the garden that he has been getting rid of for weeks but he has got to the roots and discovered there are bees in it so he has left it but where it is is not good as my granddaughter plays there and the cat loves that spot as well. The roots are loose so said to him why not lift them up on a spade and put them behind the shed. So he did but the bees didn't like it I have never seen him run so fast down the garden swearing I have nearly wet myself laughing. he didn't think it was funny oops lol

Sarah I was the same. I got up and had toast straight away with my first cuppa. That never happens. It's because I did not eat a huge amount last night at the BBQ.

My colleague has managed to speak to my boss this morning, he's had surgery and is still in hospital high on drugs so wasn't making much sense apparently lol. He has a perforated something or other right next to voice box - this is supposed to stop acid and the like coming up from your stomach but as it is perforated that is why he's been coughing up blood. Sounds very painful but at least it's not anything worse! I expect he will be off for the rest of the week if not next week too to recover. He's already checking his emails though - the man is nuts.

Went and had my nails done this morning and had a wander round town. Bought myself a new maxi dress to wear Thursday when OH and I go out for a meal with his cousin.

Hello. Needing to rant. We're upsizing in order to have a family, and we accepted an offer on our house just after Easter, and agreed purchase on the one that we're buying. It's taken months of delays and we still haven't exchanged contracts. Our buyer's solicitor kept asking for more and more paperwork, and then the Land Registry couldn't come up with the transfer document from when it was first built, so we had to agree an indemnity policy. Plus the mortgage offer took forever to come through and my husband had to chase them himself eventually as the solicitor wasn't. The mortage lenders also didn't send over the valuation to the solicitor, and then were very last minute in giving final approval. Finally last week the solicitor had everything, two weeks after we'd signed the paperwork. On Friday she attempted to exchange, and our seller's solicitor said we're ready whenever, but our seller's solicitor said we just want to check with our client (they could have done that earlier in the week, they knew Friday was the date we were aiming for). The buyer didn't come back until after 5:00, so it got delayed. The buyer had however given her notice in the place she is renting (she has to give a month), and had said that as long as we exchanged by the end of the month the completion date that she proposed of August 14th could stand. On Friday she was still happy with that. On Monday, when we again attempted to exchange, the solicitors said she wanted to change the date. Our solicitor said no, plans are in place and we need that date. To change now messes our sellers about, and my parents have arranged to help, plus we've booked time off work. Today she reveals that the reason she wants the change is that she is planning to have extensive electrical work done, and she wants it done before completion! Basically she wants us to put up with the inconvenience of having the place totally rewired when we feel no need to have it done and will get no benefit from it, so that she doesn't have to take the time off work and live in a place where the electricity is turned off. Plus she seems to have assumed that it is perfectly acceptable to get work done on a house that she doesn't yet own as money hasn't changed hands, and that other people are still living in. Not surprisingly my husband said a very emphatic no, but I suspect that yet again this will hold up contracts being exchanged.
