How are you decorating the room to make it look like a wedding and not just a party?
Im on a budget so cheap ideas would be great.
We are getting married in Gretna Green but want to throw a party when we get back but I don't want it to look like we haven't made much effort.
I know I definately want an exploding balloon for the first dance but I am open to any other suggestions.

Im having my reception in our local Rugby club....
They are going to dec it out for me, but i have to obviously buy the decs..
Im just nipping to my local party spot shop and buying loads of Wedding balloons, banners and cheap table centres... after all ill never use them again I can buy them all for about £30

we are making some bunting out of cheap duvet covers, making picture decs of us as youngsters up to pics of the 2 of us and table decs we got plant pots for £1 and painted them bright colours and then family are growing sweetpeas to go into them! just depend hows you want it to look but there is loads you can do that will add a personal touch and not break the bank! hope they help x

Im having chair covers and sashes to make mine look more like a wedding venue. Also I really like the paper pom poms you hang from the ceiling, there was a thread about them on here a little which ago. But i need to chech if i can have these coz im sure they said i coudnt stick pins in there anywhere.

where having just married balloons which a lady is doing for us im getting disposable pink napkins,table cloths,plates etc,then a 6 foot champagne bottle with what looks like flowing bubbly out of it but actually balloons as an arch as we walk in x
were gettin married in a cricket club and im addin twinkle drop skirts.balloons for night time im also thinking of havin ceiling balloons and balloon big shape things for on way in like the halls etc and the big champagne bottle like mrs handforth is and im also goin to get a mr and mrs what dances around hahaha x

Im having mine in a social club...
Ive got white table cloths for the tables... helium balloons (clusters of 3) to go on every other table and some scattered dispalys around the hall. And I want to get some tea light candles for the other tables without balloons.. I also bought wedding table confetti from poundland to sprinkle on the tables.
My mum wants to buy some purple swag material to drape across the buffet tables which should make it look nice.. Hopefully that will work xxxx

We are having ours in a social club to. We are have balloon clusters a balloon arch for the cake table and another big arch that sits over the top table. We are getting table cloths and coloured napkins. Getting some of the honeycomb folding bell thingys and banners. xx

we have a company coming in decorating so it will be set out like it would be in a hotel, fancy centre pieces, balloons, table runners etc
