So, we only need 6 place names for our top table, as the reception is quite informal so we're just going to list the main guests per table and let them sit next to whoever they like - but top table we want H2B's side by him and my family by me. I wanted something a bit different to cards on the top table so that each person could take theirs away to keep. Was shopping at the weekend and found these fab fabric felt baubles in the shape of a heart, about 3 inches across - our theme is summer brights so the colour and feel of them is fabulous - reduced from £6 to £4 too! Now I'm stuck on how to put people's names on them - I was thinking a bright yellow chain stitch straight on the red heart, but I'm also tempted to maybe get a fabric strip with the names cross stitched on them instead and stitch that on the heart like a label?
Would appreciate your thoughts as to which would look best - and also, does anyone know where I can get a template for the letters? Am just worried that if I free style it could go horribly wrong!!
