Hi all my sister is finally coming to see me on the 27th sept so she can come and see my dress. ive been in touch with the wedding shop and they said they are fully booked (kinda feel like they are saying this because they said it was to early for a dress fitting) i just want my sister to see my dress as i went and picked it with just my little children. they have emailed to say as its paid in full i can take the dress home to show family. what do you all think?? ive asked if i can return it after for them to store and do alterations but no reply.....

I would personally take it home as I can try it on whenever I want! x

Do you have a safe place to store your dress if you take it?

I had the choice to take mine home but have nowhere to store it as live with h2b and my mum currently has my brother and sil living _at hers with my niece. Both my niece and nephew (who my mum looks after from 3-6) use my old room as a play room and this is where my dress would be kept. I personally did not want to risk it and have left it with the shop.

i would be worried having it at home incase my h2b had a nosey. i have my wardrobe which is big or the guest bedroom but id have to move it everytime i have guests over in case they had a nosey. ive tried ringing loads the lines always busy but normally get a quick reply from emails. i ordered the dress in feb and it was being discontinued so they said it may be quicker than normal

Perhaps ask if you can book an accessories appointment so that you can see what veils, shoes and jewellery they have to go with the dress and then you can show your sister it and keep it there. That way you get to have a play with accessories as well and see what you like without having to buy anything. Not sure if its something your shop does but worth a try.
