I was wondering if any of you have had to cover your venues décor. Where we are having a reception is a local bowls club, the wallpaper is ok and I could probably bear it, but its the dartboard and the wall lighting that I would like to hide. I have seen a company that drape the venue and it looks lovely, but would you class this as an expense too far xxx

We would be looking to just drape the first room in front of the partition, the back room will be open but just for the bar so would have a place where you would be able to go in and out, but it hides the partition xxx

No, if it what you want to do, then do it. Drapes would be lovely. Not sure how much it would cost though x

I have had a quote for £16 a meter at the moment, but once I give exact measurements and date I can get a discount I think on that. Its free standing so no mess on the walls at the venue xxx

Not had to drape but I am currently in the process of trying to carpet a venue. They have a pavilion which has wood flooring but and has a huge logo for the venue on it and it doesn't quite fit with my theme. I have to operate with the restriction as well that they cannot be nailed down. Found one so far that doesn't and now just waiting on measurements for the pavilion so I can get a qoute.
