    Hello all!

I'm getting married at Haselbury Mill in Somerset, I don't think it needs a lot of 'dressing' as it's beautiful as it is, but my MIL thinks it should be entirely dressed. What do you think?

Also, do you think it has to be 'rustic' or could you get away with a mix of old and new?

It's gorgeous! It really doesn't need to much "dressing" as such, perhaps just chair covers and table flowers. Ours doesn't need much as it's a gorgeous barn, so were just having the 8 main beams with some fairy lights, chair covers and table flowers. But ultimately have what you want, not anyone else x

personally the venue i think is stunning and I wouldn't do much to it except for big statment centrepieces. Maybe go for really tall canlearbras with flowers in your colours and maybe a few topiary trees at the entrances and on the stage with your colour of flowers through them xx

Thank you ladies! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this opinion. My OH has told MIL to back down, so feeling much happier about things now. :) xx
