We had to have ours read in three churches. We married in the church my husband attended, but neither of us were resident in the parish, and we both lived in different parishes. We got to one reading at my parish church, which was an earlier service so we could get to our own churches too. My husband was training as a preacher and did a placement in his parish church so we got the banns read there while he was on placement, and I got to one of those. He obviously heard all the readings at his church, but I didn't make them.

We went to all three of our banns reading (twice at the church we got married in and the last one at our parish church. The first time we got forgotten and the second time they got forgotten altogether! It was nice going to church together to hear them being read
