Hi ladies, I've not been on here in a while so apologies if this has been asked recently.

I am planning on doing my own wedding shoes using rhinestones and pearl embellishments so I have been looking on bay of e and I'm really not sure how many I'm going to need! I have found someone selling 10,000 rhinestones and then I have just found a few different designs of pearls in packs of like 50/100.

Is there anyone who has done this or is planning to and knows if 10,000 will be too many? I'm only using the pearls and embellishments to make them a bit different so I'm not too worried if I don't have enough of them, it's more the rhinestones that I'm not sure about.

    TIA xx

What are you looking to do with the rhinestones/pearls? Like are you looking to cover a whole shoe, half a shoe or maybe just the heel of a shoe?

I would definitely get more than you'll think you need just to be on the safe side.. I've not looked into it, but I guess they are pretty cheap in bulk? Saying that, 10,000 sounds like a hell of a lot!! x

Yeh I'm gonna cover the whole shoe, I've added everything up and it comes to around £50! I thought 10,000 was a lot too but I have no idea!x

I have done a pair, not for wedding though I used a 3 mm and 4 mm rhinestones/crystals I think I used approx 3000 per shoe and took 7 hours to do one shoe.

Sounds horrible but was therapeutic :) xx

my friend does them and she would go for the 10,000 packet - they take up more than you think
