Went to collect our rings this morning from Argos, but they didn't fit, neither of them massive disapointment as we both loved our rings.

As it was we were going to Bath to do some shopping anyway so we went and looked in a couple of other jewlers. Found a lovely set for £450, about 4 times what we would have spent had the Argos ones fitted, BUT the shop we got them from are offerinjg 9 months interest free credit, which we got so we now have a lovely set of rings on order, white gold with 3 stones, i was told is one for the past, one for the present and one for the future. Very sweet i thought. Although apparently my fingers are a Z not a V as i thought (lord i have HUGE fingers LMAO)

Also bought some sugared almonds which i've put in our favour bags, just hope they'll be ok in 6 months time LMAO!

Lol... I'm actually shocked, my engagement ring is only a v lol. I'm not a small person, but i'm not HUGE, i have big bones though. Such a cliche but i have to get bracelets specially made and have extra links in/taken out because my wrists are so big.

I used to work as a jeweller and you're right about the three stones - I've always thought that sentiment was a lovely one. Past, present and future together!

awww i like that about the stones although i thought that was for the eternity/maternity ring which he is supposed to give you a year later or when you have your first baby whichever come first but then i might be going mad.

yeah its called a trilogy, my first engagement ring was a trilogy to give you luck in your marriage. dont worry about the ring size, you have to go up a few sizes for the wedding band just because they are wide and they sit long the widest part of ur finger. bet you are well happy about ordering ur rings. xxx
