hello everyone i need help with ideas to dress my weird shaped room in my venue where the wedding breakfast takes place theres a pic of it up if you could please have a look.
the pic is off the venue set up for a wedding years ago it still has the wall light fixings but colours are much nicer my tables will be set with white table covers not red this is how the tables must be for my wedding breakfast to so the wedding planner says.
what i really need is for you to tell me what you would do with it if it was your venue, i dont know where to start :-(
my colours are white and all shades of purple with butterflys popping up here and there.
all i know is my tables will be covered in white cloth and i have lilac butterflys sitting on each guests wine glass as a place setting.
also do you think its going to look awful with the bridesmaids all wearing different purples/lilacs and different styles of dresses all that will be the same is there hair?
grrrr im really thinking ive screwed up already dohhh

i like that idea as well hun, as for the venue, ive had a look and i dont really know what you could do with it. you dont want to much in there as it will make it look smaller x

deep breath!!!-it will look stunning honey..bridesmaid dresses n different styles and shades of the same colour will look fab. maybe go more for the white at the venue with just a hint of purples x
Bridesmaids dresses will look lovely in different shades. As for the room, maybe cover the chairs with white chair covers and purple sashes?

The colours are fine, they sound gorgeous and all different purples will look fab.. as for the venue I'd see about having it in like a C shape, without the curve, if you get what I mean? and the top table the opposite side so your facing everyone. Not sure I've explained that very well but you have ages to sort that sort of thing xx

i know i have ages but i want the big things clear in my mind so i can worry about the smaller things as im handmaking my invites and favours so im going to need lots of time to do them right. im rubbish at most things so i want to pull this wedding off with out htb as he does everything for me so hes letting me do the wedding and i want to show him im not as useless at everything as i am at driving and stuff lol this is one of two rooms we have use of and we have a courtyard too so wont be all jammed in there in the evening thats for 45 guests at the meal. i asked if the top table could be moved and the wedding planner mentioned something about fire hazord lol its quite scary doing it different though isnt it way more easy to get it wrong at have people b***h behind you back. my sister thinks that centrepieces are a bit pointless in this venue and has said how about in the middle of the tables sprinkle crystals and butterflys and have a few big church candles or something. i dont know lol maybe i should just pay the wdiing planner at the venue extra to do everything and just tell htb i did it x

people arent always opting to have bm in same colour and style etc any more so it will be fine

No I don't wana be the same good point!! Were having a female best man and my mums being father of the bride so we weren't ever getting traditional lol I picked up a couple of dresses in diff shades of purples just to try it out turns out it looks lush so now I'm all excited the bridesmaids love it too x

Hiya hun,
Please try not to stress hun. I have a small venue. So we are having ivory table cloths and ivory chair colours with a red sash on the chairs. This way it adds a hint of colour but not too much.
Have a look on the net for picture of your colours and see if you like what other people have done.
